    I know this is different than my usual sim racing videos. I have a lot of other hobbies aside from sim racing, lawn care being one of them.
    Even with my sim racing videos, I am going to focus more on products; unboxing and reviews. I finally got Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator working with my setup, so I'll be posting videos on that process as well, since RUclips lacks information on the topic. I'm just waiting on a new rim from Fanatec and the Sim-Panel button-box and shifter to arrive. 😀
    In general, I buy a lot of different products, and enjoy recording, and editing videos. With that, I am going to start adding a lot of random videos to my channel.
    There is a very simple solution if it bothers you. Simply click 'Unsubscribe'.
    As far as the TikTok I mentioned in the video, check the following URL. While not officially 'converted', I am using the Big League Lawns CheckMate striping kit from my old Scag Liberty-Z 36", on this Toro TimeMaster 30". I'll post a separate video on that soon.

    100% agree! It's very difficult to read the dip stick!

    I've had the same one for 8 years and it's been a great time saving mower.

      Yep, it's a beast. Just did my annual fall lawn renovation yesterday, so I had to scalp my lawn. Did 15,000 square feet four times and the TimeMaster ran right through it. Really amazing mower. 👍🏻

    Great video man! Thanks for talking about all the unboxing and set up, especially the oil level issue, which I couldn’t figure out because it is impossible to check the oil properly. Also, the Briggs & stratton engine manual says that the engine ships without oil, but also says the manufacturer or dealer may have added oil on their own. This is totally confusing and there’s no real way to see if this happened or not since the level is impossible to check. Worse yet, when I checked the oil right out of the box, it looks like it had some in it, but I couldn’t tell how much again because of the dipstick design problem. As you mentioned, I went ahead and added about 15 ounces anyway. I feel better about that decision after watching your video. Nice lawn in your video too. Wish mine look like that!

      Glad this video is still helping some people out!
      I used to over-think the oil, but you're good. If yours took fifteen ounces, the dealer did not fill it. I think it holds twenty, so I'd add a little bit more.
      I don't bother checking it throughout the season anymore. At the start of the new season, I just drain it, and re-fill it. You'll know if you're burning oil, it's easy to spot. You'll smell it, see blue smoke, especially when you start it up. Their dip-stick is tricky and hard to read but if you can read it, you want the level at the top line/arrow.
      When I change it seasonally, I generally run it for about 10-minutes, let it sit for a few minutes, use the 'Hopkins Maintenance Tools Siphon Pump' that I picked up from Lowe's, and drain as much as I can. I keep the oil in a container and bring it to the mechanic when I take my car for its next oil change.
      I then fill it with most of the twenty-ounce bottle of oil. Mid-way into the season, I'll just fill it with the rest of the oil from that same container to top it off.
      Enjoy the mower, it's a great machine! 👌🏻

    Iam looking to get one to speed up the cutting. I have a regular push mower now. So this would definitely speed things up with that width?

    • @KNARFNY
      @KNARFNY  2 года назад +1

      100%. It's not just the width that will save you time, it has a very large bagging capacity, and the machine is so powerful, it actually fills up the bag completely.

    This is what the time master was ment for manicured lawns! I use it commercially but only one on yards like this!

    Great video ... im thinking about gettting it .. but they keep talking about the belt breaking .. im thinking the commercial use are mis handling the lawnmowers. Do that lol ..

      I would have to agree with the commercial use. This is my second TimeMaster. I had the original for about five years, never had a single issue. I sold it to buy a zero-turn, which didn't give me the same cut as the TimeMaster. I sold the zero-turn and purchased the newer TimeMaster, which is this one with the larger 223cc engine. So far, no issues with this one either. I drain and put new oil in yearly and that's pretty much it.

    Mines got kinda a sputtering not bad but I'm wondering if it's the gas ,I just got the mower today so my only option was 93 octane gas. Might have to get some fuel stabilizer.

    • @KNARFNY
      @KNARFNY  2 года назад

      I'd say it's 100% the higher octane fuel. If it's your only option, I guess you have no choice, but I'd definitely try to avoid it.

      @@KNARFNY I've given the 5 gallons I bought to my sister so that I can go with the 87 octane and fuel stabilizer. I generally use 89 octane for my small equipment because I don't have issues but the Timemaster has a bigger engine that requires a leaner gas to keep the engine running cooler. I believe my other equipment can handle the 87 and if it can't I'll buy another gas can and fill it for the 89.
