They really should add poisonous mushrooms. I mean, it is a survival game. We're all taught as kids to be careful eating mushrooms if you don't know what they are, yet every mushroom is edible in DayZ
Only about 3% of all mushroom species are fatal, but yes I absolutely agree there needs to be at least one unassuming poisonous mushroom. “Amanita Phalloides” might be a good option
@KKKKKKK-sr1fz how would they only spawn from others lmao. Then the game would look at them and say "nope, gotta spawn on "others", no mushrooms for this guy" and never spawn a single one. They just spawn behind you is all, and vanilla i think it's 5 minutes near the area before they start spawning. So sit in a bush for 5 minutes in the forest then go run around behind where you were sitting
@@OrionKaelinClips I would love that concept...but I could see why they would want to take something like that out for the final game... Imagine if we could collect of bunch of poisonous mushrooms and make poison to put onto bullets or into water sources...that would bring an entirely new assassination dynamic to the game which I believe would be sooooo cool!
No difference with Sahkal mushrooms? There is a spot, next to a lumber mill, where I have always found mushrooms, no matter which server I am on! In fact, I have picked mushrooms from the spot, gone down into the lumber camp to cook them, and then found more mushrooms as I was leaving not five minutes later!
Raw Red Pine Mushroom 180 kcal 150 ml Baked Red Pine Mushroom 450 kcal 90 ml Boiled Red Pine Mushroom 375 kcal 240 ml Dried Red Pine Mushroom 375 kcal 30 ml I believe WOBO is wrong for saying they give 500 hydration...
PS. I usually don't bother collecting them unless I'm sorting stuff at a stash. Best way to find where they spawn near your stash is to have a custom server and turn on ESP and really learn the area...and make sure by the time you leave your stash it appears like somebody just passed through the area...not mushroom clusters that would give away a stash location. I eat the raw ones cause usually there's enough calories to make you full indicator anyways...throw away the rotten ones in a neat little pile hidden away...and store the dried ones near a coastal stash for immediate food after respawning. With this strategy I have ran from Cherno back to my body at NWAF still with flies around it...and have been able to avenge myself at NWAF.

Dang it WOBO!!! Well, I might as well tell them you can eat two rotten mushrooms at a time. Just eat a dried or raw one before eating two more rotten ones. Stay in an area with haystacks, stumps, or dead logs for Livonia. In Sakhal it is stumps, logs, broken trees, and tall dead trees. Dang it WOBO lol
@Broski__ Maybe they are, but I wouldn't recommend it. It used to be three rotten mushrooms at a single time but has been two for at least past couple updates.
Which is ironic because my energy level is 0 when baked.
fuckin oath
Lolol
So is my hydration
😂😂

Play some Syberia project servers then you'll experience survival (and a lot of death)
How about magic mushrooms instead?
No bro we've got enough ways to get sick and die already 😂
I mean, why? You're already told when food is rotten.
Only about 3% of all mushroom species are fatal, but yes I absolutely agree there needs to be at least one unassuming poisonous mushroom. “Amanita Phalloides” might be a good option
If I'm running low on food I hide in a bush, make a cup of tea, then go picking. You can simple live off mushies.
I don’t get it ? How long till they spawn ?
@KKKKKKK-sr1fz a few minutes, doesn't take long, just Scout around and eat the rotten ones slowly.
@@merocaine but do you know when fresh ones spawn ? I mean they spawn from my own presence or somebody else I thought they only come from

Let me combine my beans and bacon and bake them!
get a mod or som shi
The canned bacon is already cooked lol
I heard you can boil these in a pan then the water acts as food like a soup never tried it but is it true?
Holy crap I had no idea. Mushrooms are the best apparently
Which game version is this about? The current nutrition of a baked mushroom is 450 energy and 90 hydration.Raw is 180/150.
How much is it baked compared with other food?

It’s not. It’s half. WOBO is incorrect unfortunately 😊
So what stats does it give when boiled or dried?

@@DayzedTransceiverRotten shrooms are bugged. They don't get you sick at all
@@Broski__ I just tried it and they still get you poisoned. You'll just need to eat a bit over two of them in a row.
Is this the same for the mushrooms on Sakhal? Because I tried cooking one on a stick and it burned instead of getting cooked
It has to be raw to cook it, if it's dried then it'll only burn when cooking
Make sure the shroom isn't dried or rotten which will burn when cooked
I could tell who was lied to when they were scared to eat mushrooms
Every time I try to cook vegetables in this game it just burns immediately… idk wtf I’m doing wrong
Dry or rotten food will burn. Make sure they're fresh.

Optimal is boiling. The only way to cook in dayz... Fish fir a cooking pot and fish.

Mushroom baked: 450kcal energy
Tacticool Bacon: 1200kcal energy

I promise you, wobo knows his stuff. The wiki is extremely outdated. Wobo uses in game files when studying this stuff.

Mushrooms lose their nutrients and water content when you cook them.

Also, make sure to pay attention to the Sakhal mushrooms because rotten and raw have the same picture. I have to check the status of said mushrooms.
Needs a severe nerf. Mushrooms have very little caloric value IRL.
