The track bar mount was bending and the tires were hosed. Now have new tires and new track bar mount, but now there is something loose in the front end and it worse than ever.
if you watch closely you can see the control arm walking around on the upper axle mount... id say driveline angle on front shaft is wrong and the bolts that go through the control arm bushings are worn out, or loose in the bushing sleeve... tires dont look great either...
Looks like death wobble to me. Just a very minor case of it. One thing is fore sure though. You will know if it is or not. When you feel it its not really something you have to question lmao. Almost had a heart attack the first time I felt it. It wouldnt stop until I slowed all the way down! Funny thing for me though is that it only happened to me 2x over the course of years of owning that car. I never fixed it
I have this same problem on my ZJ...wasn't sure if that was the death wobble everyone talks about or if it is just a balance issue...Did you ever get it fixed and if so what did you end up doing?
My grand cherokee had it I fixed it it was the rear had end links bad control arms badlands one tire low made it realy bad iv learned lift kits and big tires don't help fried had one took lift of of it put stick tires back on it drove like a new one tires were almost new

Did you fully fix it yet?

That was the first thing I saw too...
that's not death wobble
I agree, Looks like tires out of balance or hubs... haha, i was expecting the death wobble though ;) my axle literally goes side to side
its probably caster. look like a 3 inch lift with stock control arms.

Tight track bar joints, tires balanced, and as much castor as you can get without driveline vibes. We fix this problem regularly.
lol death wobble feels like your riding on rims , on a rocky road lol

I'd start by getting your tire's rebalanced.
wait you thought this was death wobble??😂
That’s totally not death wobble😂
it basically is. rapid oscillation of steering and suspension.
Control arm bushings
I got core4x4 adjustable tier 1 on one of my zjs and poll bushings for stock arm on another. Easy fix.
thank you for a clear answer.
Nope, Tijeras, NM. Turned out to be worn lower control arms.
Was this in Reno nv by chance? :D
Nick Davis Tijeras, New Mexico
