Gulden is better than Daicos, even the stats back that up. Errol flies under the radar, if he played for a Melbourne club the media would be all over him
No chance
Better than Josh Daicos? Yes. Better than Nick? No. Josh is closer to Errol than Errol is to Nick.
@@Josh-wp1ccL take
Golden Boot Gulden is definitely better than both Daicos boys. He gets his own contested ball and tackles hard too, something neither Daicos does …
@@ma3stro681 I’m gonna take a wild guess and say you follow Sydney? Am I wrong?
Pretty good. Cannot fault your picks but as a Hawks man I think that Reeves will take some giant strides this season.
If Oliver is fit, healthy and playing I’m taking him over daicos every time in the midfield
As a Carlton supporter I’d swap Cerra and Doc but looks pretty good other than that
Nick Daicos is winning the Brownlow 😉
Gulden is a much harder, better player who actually wins his own ball and tackles hard too, something receiver Nick Daicos doesn’t do …
@@ma3stro681 okay bud 😀
soldo in tier 4 rough, when he was number 1 ruck at richmond he was a top 6 ruck in the comp
Yeah certainly has the potential to be up there this season
completely agree with it all but where is mason cox in rucks?
Considered cox, played a huge part alongside Cameron late last year but I probably see him around the above average area for this year when comparing to all ruckman in the comp.
I reckon Ashcroft will be up ther
Was considering him but will only play half the season
@@RilesMacca what I thought his acl was better now
@@SS.EDITS0 he’s recovering well but won’t be fully back till around mid year. Doedee will be back earlier.
De Goey over Docherty is crazy
Both are solid players in their own right, De Goey was an AA calibre player for the first half of last year and one of the best clearance midfielders. I agree its easy to overhype a player like him, but gee if the pies are up there again he'll be huge you'd think.
Darcy gotta be top 3 ruck in the league imo
Personally would have jdaicos in elite but I could just be a biased pies fan
Don't blame you too much to be fair, he is a star. Was close from putting him in tier 2.
Wheres Jordan Dawson?
In the elite tier mate, should've zoomed in on the graphics might've been hard to see 😅
@@RilesMacca a yes, went back and found him cheers mate
Cameron great? He wasn’t even the Pies number one ruck in the last six weeks of the H&A season and the entire finals campaign.
True but still holds significant importance to the Pies structure as the solo ruck or with Cox. Played pretty well in the prelim and granny. Also these rankings are predictions not current rankings.
You said Jordan Dawson left for so little?? He left for a first round pick, what more could you've asked for?
We got Melbourne's future first rounder not Adelaide's future first , should've gotten that instead. A lot of supporters weren't happy with the end result.
@@RilesMacca lol are you still salty over losing Jordan Dawson to the Crom?
@@blade5883 Must be said I was pretty disappointed but civil when he left. He’d been with us for a while so him going home was understandable, but yeah most supporters knew he was going to be a star at the crows. Certainly at the time would’ve been nicer to get a bit more for him, was hard though we didn’t have much leverage.
@@blade5883 What kind of swans fan would he be if he wasn’t?
Can't argue with any of the positions you put up. Could of had serong, brayshaw and young in top 3. And move gawn out and put Darcy or Jackson. Otherwise good list. No bias
Sorry to burst your expectation bubble but watched every game Adams ever played for the Pies and his decision making and execution are atrocious. Loved his desperation but I swear he was under the delusion that he was a Daicos given the kicks he tried to pull off. Should have taken a leaf out of Tony Shaw/Tom Mitchell book and kept it simple. As Clint said a man’s got to know his limitations.
Yeah fair comments man, I'm not expecting Adams to come out and play like an AA caliber mid. His disposal has always been one of his weaknesses, but I'm pretty bullish on him coming in and being a key part of a collective effort to improve our midfield. He's always had a ferocious and tenacious attack on the footy and we're desperately lacking ball winning midfielders, as well as an adequate enough ruckman. We were bottom 4 for clearances and contested possies, so him alongside grundy will definitely help point those numbers in the right direction. Always rated Adams in terms of importance when he was at the pies too.
Fair enough his attack on the ball as you say is elite and the confines of the SCG may better suit his game but I was glad to see the back of him, Mitchell made him redundant and Fin McRae needed more exposure.
Rozee stiff
Defo up there for a top 3 mid this year, very consistent player.
There is NOTHING on this earth Daicos can do that Gulden can not, and if you mention winning a premiership shut up. Unlike Daicos, Gulden can win his own ball and run both ways, sorry to say it
Both are special players, I think guldens ability to pin point his kicks in between defenders inside 50 is special
I think acres and cerra should be in teir 3
