Biggest factor to add is that they choreographed most of their songs- so not only did they sound great in the studio but they were able to dance comfortably to allow their vocals to not be hindered.

Not really. It mostly depends on the intensity of the choreo and the singer's stamina Mamamoo place a very heavy focus on vocals (with good reason. They are phenomenal vocalists). Since the emphasis is on vocals their choreo tends to be lower in intensity With hip, mamamoo tried a more intense choreo to "prove they can sing live with harder choreo". Do you know what happened? Their MC removed sounded awful at the harder parts because they were out of breath. They turned the backtrack way up in their performances so you can't really hear the sound of the mic. I don't really understand why Kpop has been so dance focused and why they're expecting idols to stung live while doing backflips. I think mamamoo has the correct approach. Low intensity, yet interesting choreography that allows them to sing live
