A few questions, I'm gonna be recording the 7:35 PM test. If I have my NOAA Weather Radio with me, will it just make the same noises as yours, or will the louder Warning alarm go off? Thanks!
+4J25 based on your settings, it will make an alert tone before the NWS attention tone. Mine was not a weather radio, so thats why the EAS header tones came through with no other warning tone.
Did you use a scanner or something? If so, what frequency do I use? And if not, is there any way to disable the warning?
its basically a scanner. and I have no idea what your local NOAA Weather Radio frequency would be, looking it up online works.
Yeah, finding your local NOAA frequency isn't hard, as there's only 7 of them. 162.40, 162.425, 162.475, 162.50, 162.525, and 162.55.
I live in Indiana as well.
That same siren in Missouri happened to me March 22, 2016 I think its all 50 states that is doing the siren?
Most states have different sirens, some don't even have sirens.
