another tip to win the joust, if you can get 3 or 4 people in a chain with you at the back, you can all launch off in different directions at different times, increasing your speed
While there will probably be evolving joust strategies, we've mostly stuck to only two man chains on the initial joust. Adding in a 3rd or 4th player can make it really difficult to keep the chain in sync. Doesn't mean there aren't possibilities with it though

Ah yeah I didn't really clarify that. Autograb isn't really a setting you need to enable. To use it, you just hold or pre-load the grab button and then anything your hand makes contact with it will grab on to.
So when initiating a regrab boost, if it's the person in front who grabs behind them and then throws themselves forward, how is the person behind supposed to regrab if there's no one jumping in front from behind them? I think I'm not quite understanding the order.
Hey man! Yeah, I could see how that may be confusing. It's kind of hard to explain over text, but I can try lol So I'll try to explain it from the lead player's perspective. Lead player turns around and grabs on to back player. You should swing fully behind them, so that as you pull, you pull straight through their hands. If they are expecting it, they should already have their hands extended and Autograb held. Your job is then to pull directly through their hands so that they end up holding on to your back. Once you end up being the front player, you will just hold your hands out and try to use your Autograb to grab them as they pull through you. Once you get comfortable with it, you can eventually move to using only one hand and make just a slight flick with your wrist to do the chain. It takes some practice, and some players just have better boost chemistry than others. But if you add me on Oculus, we could jump in sometime and I could show you how to do it in a private arena
