She looks exactly like my poodle! I can't believe you were able to touch her while giving birth. My poodle growled when I tried to help. She only let me get near after she was finished but not even. She was very overprotective. When I picked up one puppy she got up and took the puppy out of my hands. I remember one time the puppy got hurt and she ran over to put her paw over the puppy and started crying. I had to calm her down and tell her its okay ❤
So nice to see her human helping her so sweetly, I See so many humans whose hands I want to slap away because they are being so invasive. Nice job human mom!

It was a surprise. And I didn't plan to do c-section. She was active, full of life, healthy and was doing great bringing her puppies for her and our enjoyment.

It was my first experience and I simply was a sider and made sure she was comfortable and cared for (homemade food, water, bedding, quiet surroundings). The nature will do it's own thing in the right time. Just follow your vet's advice. Wishing you and your doggy the best.

No, i didn't do x-ray. it was surprise number of puppies. Mom was very healthy, eating well, i took her on a walk every day, so i didn't feel like doing it (x-ray).

Juogic N I never studied about the other approach. I enjoyed my scenario to the fullest and still getting lots of compliments from puppy owners about how sweet and smart they are. I guess it works both ways.

He said that they might not come down even the breeder that sold it to me just told me that he might not come down because he is already 6 months. Also at what age can a female puppies have babies? I didn't know how many puppies she had. It was surprise.
Her water broke at some point and I knew at that time that labor has started. I also counted days after she was mating.

Don't worry about the dog. They have natural instincts and she will be great mom to her puppies.
