@@karlkarlos3545 Exactly, he has done much more for the filmmaker's community than we know. He was once asked in his interview with Anupama Chopra that "How to does it feel to be called the best director in the world?" He replied," I'm fortunate to be able to make every movie I wanted to make". He knows every filmmaker is not able to do that and he empathizes with them. He has a done a masterclass on directing. Besides, he has done many documentaries like A personal journey through Hollywood with Martin Scorsese and My voyage to Italy. He actively participates in film festivals. But people only see him as some American-Italian who makes gangster movies.

Every time I watch this man talk I feel like it's not long enough. Never get tired of him talking about life and movies. Such a good story teller in person and in movies.
@@ofon2000 God i tried and i even tried to force myself to love it, but it just didn't work for me. I mean, it's a good movie, but it just wasn't on the level of Casino or Goodfellas. And that runtime was brutal, also i couldn't suspend my disbelief about the age of the characters throughout the movie, it was just awkward.
Meh... Scorsese simply didn't notice. Looks like he was going to sign something for someone at the end there. I'll bet the guy got his handshake afterwards, LOL.
You made L.Q.Jones Happy all of the movies tv shows he has done you asking him to write it that made him Happy and made you Happy! I really miss him I enjoyed his voice and watch the way he moves in different shows he is just so very good and he’s a humble guy go in do your job and go home to your family!😉😃🇺🇸🙏😇
One of the most over-rated movies I've ever seen released. I couldn't finish watching after the terrible CGI tried to make Deniro look like a 35 year old, blue eyed Irishman...Seeing these three actor icons reminded me of boxers way past their prime, trying to relive their glory days...Sad...
You couldn't finish it because you have a short attention span, you didn't see past the C.G.I because you lack suspension of disbelieve, you think they are past there glory day's because you are out of touch, and your spoutting here about it because you have no-one else to talk to.... amusing...

Everytime I hear Martin Scorsese, I fall in love with movies and cinema history more and more. He is such a brilliant person and a director.
But unfortunately most people ignore everything he's done this days, if it isn't a thriller or connected to the gangster genre .

Scorsese: “oh”, head down.
my god my heart has melted! Huge Respect to both legends
He is God's gift to humanity. We need to learn so much from him.
The Irishman is an absolute masterpiece. Easily XXI century top 5.
This movie will grow over time.
I am a bit afraid it will grow so much that it could surpass GoodFellas as Scorese's third best film.
So agree w you. The Irishman is a masterpiece in so many ways. Thanks Mr Scorsese

It's a shame that we can't see The Irishmen in theaters.
its a shame the story has holes in it...was a good movie but not accurate because it was based off of a shitty fake confession
