"Was it worth it?" Hmmm... That's all up to you. It's probably technically much better, but you can probably make a top-notch, professional film, or do a professional, top-notch photoshoot, with your a6400 as well. I guess you have access to better lenses now, but you also open up that rabbit-hole to spending every penny that you have to get them, and the crop lenses are really good, so it's really just a matter of if it makes you happy. Probably, if you're doing professional work, it's the best way to go, because perception means a lot out here in the world too. That's a truth. I buy everything used on eBay generally, and every piece of gear that I have gotten has come to me flawlessly, like it's all been in brand-new condition, and trust me, I have spent very little money on all of my lenses, and my a6400. So to me, I would say yes, it's worth it. Because with multiple great cameras, you can be even more creative with your work. And if you could afford to have this upgrade, why not? It's certainly not a bad thing, that's for sure. Having said that, I've been struggling with whether I should buy an a6600, or this a7c as my next camera, for a project that I am going to be starting in a few months. I need a second camera body, and so I am at that crossroads. I'll probably go with the a6600 because of all of my lenses, but I'm really not sure. We'll see what happens :-) Thanks for the awesome video, as always.
As we speak I'm shooting a wrestling event with the a7c and a6000. I can tell you that having a standard zoom on the a7c and a 75mm prime on the a6000 (for more reach) is a nice combo. I like that they both use emount of course, but the fact that there are plenty of small + affordable full frame lenses makes having both viable for the first time. There's truly something for everyone with Samyang & Tamron coverng the budget primes, Sigma is an excellent mid range option especially with the i-series, and of course the G Masters. The former 2 are especially well balanced on smaller bodies. I'll probably make a video about my night too
Congratulations on your super purchase!
Hey thanks for watching!
