For some who may not know.. each of these games are based on real life cases (they’re all very known). This one obviously was based on Ed Gein aka the man who inspired leatherface. The other games include the real stories at the end but this one was easily known so✨

@TRASHMESSIAH Gein did kill 2 women, but that's it. He didn't lure people to his house and murder them, like the game implies. He mainly dug up fresh graves of women and girls who resembled his dead mom and then mutilated them and turned them in to all kinds of objects and furniture, as the leatherface movies show. There are a few more suspected victims, but they were never confirmed. So while this game is based on Ed Gein, a lot of stuff was added for story and game purposes.

Instead of heading back for help or trying a different route, the last two in the group decide to also go down the exact same path where everyone else disappeared.
At that point, it makes no sense. They’ve been waiting for nearly 24 hours. In all that time, they could’ve just walked forward themselves, gone back the way they came to get help, or at least split up so someone stayed behind while the others searched. Instead, they basically sat there, doing nothing, until every single person vanished one by one.
I have to be getting the timeline wrong, because there's no way.
