I have had a similar experience with my son's illness. I had reached a point where I realized I was not in control and as a husband and father I was powerless. When one day while waiting for my son to return to the Neuro ICU after a 9 hour surgery, God spoke to my heart and I received that same peace.
From that point on I knew that God was with us on this journey and that what ever happened, He wouldn't leave us. From the age of 18 month to age 14 years my son had 6 major neurosurgeon. Today my son is 51 and although we still has related health issues, God is still at our side. I have put my worrying aside many years ago, and I share my story of God peace every chance I have. God Bless

I live in Arkansas and have had MGUS since 2014. The myeloma research facility is awesome. My doctor called me yesterday and told me she wanted me to go see oncology. Not looking forward to the bone marrow biopsy. I go to the VA now for my medical care. Praying for a good outcome.
Thank you for sharing your story.

My late fiance lived 5 years which was the lifespan back in 2009. He had a bone marrow transplant and was in the hospital 5 weeks. His multiple myeloma turned into leukemia. He died cancer free but the last treatment killed him. God bless you. People are living longer now with MM!

I know what it’s like for my spouse to have had Multiple Myeloma. He passed away from it 6/29/21. You are very Lucky to be in Remission. I took my husband to treatment for 2 years, 4 or 5 days a week. It was a long hard journey.

My bone marrow biopsy was horrendous. I was surprised - bc I have a high pain tolerance level. I have MPN. I can't have one without sedation. God Bless 🇺🇸 and much luck. 🙏

God is good. All the time. All the time, God is good! God has given me that kind of peace before - above the peace that I’ve experienced since giving my life to Jesus Christ. I’m so glad that you found Him! Even though it was in a tragedy that sounds horrific!!! Let’s just say you are a much stronger man than I am! (And I’m not a man, but still!!) I was a baby when I had one broken rib so I can’t even imagine. So thankful that God was all wrapped up in this! I was in your wife’s shoes in 2020 when my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer on a Monday, and later that week, also with prostate cancer. Not a metastasis. Two different cancers. I know she is so proud for you. She is a strong woman, too. God bless you and your family.

I’ve just been diagnosed with myeloma, but they have put me on watch and wait, I am terrified, I’ve had pet scan, bone marrow biopsy, para protein levels are high, I also have bone pain but no lesions, they said I have no bone problems yet February of this year I had to have lumber spine surgery because I couldn’t walk, still have problems walking, I just sit now in fear that am going to die, my first grandchild is due in February 2025 I want to live.

I have said this before- but I truly feel that colon cancer is NOT silent at all! Our bodies are warning us up to that point in stages when people eat plant based foods, processed or whole (raw or cooked) - doesn’t matter which type you digest- does the same to your colon! These are stages that our colon warns us that we are damaging it before we hit colon cancer:
Stage 1: IBS symptoms- (Cramping, gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, extended bellies!)
Stage 2 if you ignore stage one: Diverticulitis, diverticulosis, crones, celiac, ulcers, polyps, leaky gut, lactose, and so on.
    Stage 3: colon cancer!
We need to be listening to our bodies! Doctors say it’s normal to have IBS- but NO it is not! It’s not normal at all- it is a warning that if we ignore, our guts will get damaged over time! There is no silence with colon cancer- your body has done so much to warn you but you just didn’t listen! Remove plants from your diet and go the human ancestral way of eating- the carnivore lifestyle! It is not a fad- it’s is the human way of eating!

You can’t be referencing this patient’s story. He didn’t have colon cancer.

@@matthewthomasjames here ya go! I meat to post this- Cancer is caused from eating a plant based diet with little to no lean meat. Plant sugars and natural plant toxins damage the mitochondria! Mitochondria need to be healthy to control bad cells and remove them, like cancer cells. But if mitochondrial are damaged they can’t remove bad cells, they can’t stop them from growing, and can’t stop them from spreading. Watch Dr. Thomas Seyfried on how cancer is a metabolic disease! People using carnivore to heal and reverse cancer.

And your kind of comment is not what people need, Shame on you
