Since the animation may go too fast for people to be aware; there's a lot that goes on while Ib runs through the hallway in 0:50. Please appreciate the animation~! So subtle but alive. 1.) The blue-haired lady gets cat eyes, and right after that, shadow hands fall from the ceiling. 2.) The truth teller (labeled LIAR! in game) is fine, and then a red slash crosses her and she bleeds out. 3.) The Lady in Red Painting falls. She briefly gives chase. 4.) In the small stage, Carrie Careless pops out and waves. 5.) The painting with the tongue moves its tongue around and the blue face painting moves its maw. 6.) A rose blooms from the blank brown painting, and proceeds to use its thorny tendrils, Ib just dodges it. 7.) The mouth whispers something... 8.) A hand grips the corner of the last painting, the giant doll is on the way, but we don't get to see it.

I have to agree with Martha. There are a few missed frames and the actual designs look a bit more blocky than they allowed in Higurashi Kai, even in the cheaper moments of the show.
No, this one didn't look like a exact copy of the higurashi opening. The other one, looks like the anime opening expect with different characters. This one, added the best thing at the running part and other parts. Therefore, it's more creative and better.
