As far as mentality goes it has to be about focusing on your own play but also you need to want to see your teammates succeed. A selfish person in real life should never play position 4 or 5. A lot of success in dota is about self awareness. Ty for this guide it’s the best I’ve seen.
Nice video mate, I've been playing POS4 for years now and I recently calibrated into Divine 1 but I never really think about what I'm doing I just play the game as I know how. This guide really helps breakdown my thoughts and opened my eyes as to how I can approach things differently. Cheers.
Thx alot, very very important guide for me now, it`s a year since i stucked in a legend rank> diying 10+ times a game on 4 pos. It`s very hard for me to not join the teamfight despite the fact that i should farm my item etc.
thank you for your helpful video, I appreciate it a lot! also i feel like your channel is extremely underrated, you deserve at least 100k subs :D anyway keep doing bro, wish you success
Somehow Opera GX showed a tiny video of Moist Critical in the corner screaming "yeah baby!!" and I watched the entire Heropool section thinking it was some form of meme in the video until I realized it was on my browser. Amazing.
bro this is a really great video! i myself is struggling right now in 4k mmr bracket as a support, most of your tips are very helpful! more contents like this in the future please!
damn bro this video helped me ease my feeling as i got a winning early-mid game but my core choose to build funny ass item (Luna going aghs magic build when she won the shit out of her lane) i guess i need a break ahaha😂
from my experience the pos4 role sits in the trees for first 5 minutes completely afk, and when they get bored of missing skillshots from trees they leave lane. welcome to offlane.
7:18 I had a situation exactly like on screen in a game recently where I pulled and my p3 immediately got mad at me because the catapult was there at the tower, should I have pulled or was he right
very situational. if you want to take tower with catapult then u shouldn't pull.. if u don't want to take tower then u can pull, its fine. I pulled because tide and hoodwink are not going to take tower really quickly and tide is melee which means he'll have to go close to tower to hit. when we're going to hit tower there's a possibility of enemy team teleporting and with CM's freeze we can throw away the lane.
Shadow Shaman split push lanes that are not wanted from core casue dangerous. Lich stick close to team cause cant split push and put vision. What about venge?
be close to core if your draft is strong and you wanna run down enemies. be close to core to protect them if enemy are planning a smoke gank ( you can get an idea of this if enemy heroes are not showing on map for a long time ). be close to core while pushing towers. Farm when neither your team is ready to fight nor enemy team can take a fight ( you can get an idea of it by looking at the heroes and their timings ). Split push when you've to drag the game long. A hero like lich can never cut waves because it takes forever to kill the wave meanwhile shaman and venge can do it a lot easier later on that's why as a lich if you're trying to push out lanes then it's just bad map movement, only way lich can cut a wave is by using ultimate, that u can do once in a while. The main thing support player has to do is not show himself on map for a long time.
What a nice, down to earth, guide. Thanks man
My pleasure!
