Bro Renji is a tank in SS arc. Hinamori gets stabbed once in that arc and thats it. Renji tanks Ichigo, tanks Byakuya bankai direct hit and Aizen. Aizen alone cut him like 3-4 times on Sokyoku hill. If anyone should be dead its Renji. Thickest Plot Armor in entire show. Even in TYBW he gets power ups that are not real. Dude is like fodder in SS arc and one of the youngest LTs in current Gotei 13 but in TYBW is among the strongest characters. All that is like 2-3 years maybe in timeline. If he had so much potential what was he doing so far then? Kubo really broke the power scale with Renji. At least Ichigo is prodigy and mix of 3 different "races". There is logical explanation for Ichigo and people like Kenpachi for example. Renji is just one walking plot armor. And people complain about Hinamori lol.
