This is a new single from an upcoming remake album. I try to release a new song every week until the release. This piratey song is a pretty popular one and it didn't require much additional work because it's full of great fun melodies. I decided to speed up the tempo a bit because I felt the original version was a bit too slow. The song duration is still the same because I added some additional parts to let the song breathe. Recording and editing real instruments, re-arranging the orchestra and mixing everything of course took some work. Folk instruments recorded by Ian Fontova and violin by Nino Chikviladze.
Listening to the remake of the song that introduced me to your amazing albums is something special. It got recommended to me while listening to a youtube mix playlist sometime in 2018 while playing Team Fortress 2 and it just fit perfectly to my Pirate loadout. Really glad this amazing coincidence introduced me to your many amazing albums.
Awesome to see another song of yours released! I can't wait to see the rest of the "Set Sail For The Golden Age" album remake :) [I am especially excited for the "Wolves Of The Sea" and "Set Sail For The Golden Age" songs remastered.]
Ooh, I LOVED this one years ago! I still listen to it, and this updated version sounds awesome! I think I like this version better than the original! How about an updated Spirit of Freedom next?

Nice sir!🫡
Who made the artwork?
Yes!! Always loved your pirate themes Antti!! Some of my favourites. Thanks for all the great music over the years
the original one released 10 years ago , good to see this comeback :}
Yo-ho-hou!
I remember listening to this when it first came out. It was epic then, and it's even more-so now!

I love the artwork, too! 😍
Me too. I'd love to have that as an oil painting in my house.
This is surely a pleasant surprise. 😊
But a welcome one, to be sure.
@@ianmiller6040 Indeed.
Thought Pirates of the Caribbean was about to play😂 great song❤
Your timing. The day I have an urge to make a Pirate-esque Pathfinder character, this inspiration hits like a truck. Thank you! :)
👀 What we never knew we needed until we had it. As a longtime fan of the original I find this one just plain AWESOME
After so much time for this
Love it! This was an instant addition to my Piratecore list. This would make great intro or outro for a pirate movie.
Love this ❤ and to hear real woodwind instruments
Pink Panther's Pirate Chapter brought me into this, and this brought me into The Witcher's world. Two outstanding birds with one childhood's stone
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one !
Great job! I love the marimba!
Even better than the original!
C’est vrai, depuis que je l’ai entendue, je suis tout joyeux
Aye, greatly appreciate this blood rising tune, carry on with more!
Nice! Antti Martikainen's pirate music is splendid.
Thank you for sharing the soothing rhythm, from the Album "Kingdom quest".☘️
Glad to see this one making a return!
The original was the first of your songs I ever heard. Its good to be reminded of that.
Great song!
Speak of the devil, I was just listening to the original album. Man, that stuff's cool!
Top!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks. Listening to this feels like im playing some DLC in AC Blackflag 😅😊😊
This certainly make a good RPG music when in some port town or when controlling a ship to get to the next destination.
