It was so funny to hear you talk about your experience with biking to school. I live in The Netherlands and we love bikes over here. It is really normal to have two bikes per person. I do everything with my bike, for hobby just a bikeride, but also the groceries and riding to work and such. So it was nice to learn about the difference between how we look at the whole bike thing. Thank you for this video and I wish you a great rest of your summer!
Awww! Every time I see your math curriculum I think, “Hey! I know that stuff! I’ve taught that too!” I taught 3rd grade for 7 years before moving to 4th the last 3 years. We used Go Math that entire time. This year I will be moving to 5th grade, and we will also be using a new curriculum. I definitely think it will be good for us, but I’m also thinking that Go Math is so much more familiar. It was time for the change though! I just love watching your videos! You are so bright and bubbly, and you just make me want to have a more positive outlook on everything. I love to see how other teachers do things and set up their classrooms. 😊
I love a small basketball hoop! I have had one in my room for a few years now and have used it when kids have either participated and answered a question during a lesson or I have seen a lot of effort on their work. It really pumps up the kids. They love to “take a shot” and will ask if it’s a “double shot”! And it can be depending on what I’ve seen them do, even acts of kindness or following directions quickly or cleaning up from a center well. I have used it as an incentive instead of candy and it’s a big “flex” for the kids. 😂 But also the other kids LOVE to cheer on their friends if they make their shot! As soon as students see friends able to take a shot, as we all know with incentives, other kids try to do what they have seen done to join in and get their chance at a shot. I got this the year I had to do distance learning with some kids online and some kids at school with me at the same time… behavior was the hardest I ever had… ever! I had only boys in person at the time… and it changed everything when I started using it!
Thanks!😊great job biking to school!! 💪🏻I used to love to run to my school, aprox. 3 miles one way! 🏃♀️So fun! Quiche looked soso yummy! You inspired me! I think maybe spinach in mine! Have a great day!
In Florida all teachers are required to have books scanned into a database for their personal library. However, I do not know what they use to scan because teachers can’t scan them themselves and we have just started this system so I still need to figure out what I need to do to get those scanned and added 😅

This is SO GOOD to hear!! 😊🏀
What document camera did you use prior to Czur?
Have you ever done Scholastic Book Club with your class… it’s a great way to build your classroom library with points and monthly deals!
I haven't! What does it look like for your class?
Thanks!😊great job biking to school!! 💪🏻I used to love to run to my school, aprox. 3 miles one way! 🏃♀️So fun! Quiche looked soso yummy! You inspired me! I think maybe spinach in mine! Have a great day!
YES I have been wanting to put some spinach in mine too!
Because of Winn Dixie is so great for character traits/development!
Ooooh thank you!!
You should get an electric tea kettle for your pour over coffee, well worth the money
Oh David would LOVE THAT! The pour over is new so we’ve just been microwaving it since it was quick and we didn’t have anything else 😅🙈
Do you use a scanner to catalog your books? If so, what kind do you use?

You may consider the CZUR scanner series.
Can you link what you showed on your phone… how to overcome an anxious mind? I could use that devotional!
Just added the link to the description! Let me know if it doesn’t work for some reason!
@@mrs_katie_in_elementaryit worked, thank you! 😊
I love the document camera can’t wait to see if I have one in my classroom if not I’ll check this one out thanks so much!
There are so many models out there! Hope you find a great one for you!
All great books. Introduce your class to new books series by by reading one books or part of a book.
Good tip! Thanks!
Another great book: How to eat fried worms. Much better than the movie.
😊
Can you link your Bible?
It is a custom Bible cover by Mamabooclay on Etsy! I have had it for three years now and love it! www.etsy.com/shop/Mamabooclay?ref=shop_sugg
