*It would be great if you didn't just go full-throttle into past perfect for the examples. More often than not it's beginners who are looking to expand their vocabulary without such an emphasis on B2 verb tenses. Past simple would be fine.*

What about when you say someone offered money ? I usually see the people using sentence like "they offered me 100$ to do something" but in this case you only use with "to"
