We had 8 people all over the age of 30 at my house for the super bowl and it was a unanimous decision that we watch the Super Bowl from bikini bottom. We spent the whole night dying of laughter. Made the game so much more entertaining than it already is 😂 thank you Nickelodeon.
I think it’s cool the NFL put it on Nickelodeon. I wish they had done this back when I was a kid in the early 90s. Ren and Stimpy would have been epic announcers!

@jendrives1696 as much as I (everyone) would absolutely love for this to be a yearly thing it can't happen again until at least 2028 cause that's the next year that CBS will be able to transmit the Super Bowl. They switch between CBS, NBC, Fox and ABC so every network transmits it every 4 years. This year was CBS and that's why Nickelodeon was able to transmit it too, cause they are sibling networks.

Tom Kenny and Bill Fagerbakke commentating as Spongebob & Patrick was awesome & props to them for doing it. Also props the the Voice Actors of Sandy Cheeks and Larry the Lobster for improvising as the reporters. Lastly the Nickelodeon Scoreboard, and yard line graphics were cool, I liked on every 1st down the yard marker turned into a rainbow for a few seconds
It's pretty clever and unique. I think it's also a great way of teaching kids about football using characters that they are familiar with and love. It's pretty fitting having Dora explain how certain rules in the game work considering that she comes from an educational cartoon.
This was honestly the most fun I’ve ever experienced watching football… I don’t even watch any sports but me and my son enjoyed watching it from Nickelodeon. Please keep this going in the future

So glad I decided to tune into this last night. This broadcast was an unhinged surreal experience from beginning to end and I hope Nickelodeon does it again next year.

This does NOT do the entire program justice. They had such amazing one liners and references between SpongeBob and Patrick during the entire Super Bowl. It was hilarious to watch and kept me nostalgia fueled the entire Super Bowl. I want to watch every Super Bowl like this from now on.
I know! I was already excited about this game and they exceeded my expectations. All the lines and references, and the fact the voice actors themselves were there, it makes my childhood heart dang happy!! 🦋

This was awesome! The Cameos from Nickelodeon related content like Sonic, Loud House, Rock Paper Scissors, and other Spongebob characters were great to see. Spongebob and Patrick commentating and reacting to current events were perfect 👌 The only problem is that Sweet Victory should have played at the actual halftime show, but we get what we get.

The Cameos from Nickelodeon related content like Sonic, Loud House, Rock Paper Scissors, and other Spongebob characters were great to see. Spongebob and Patrick commentating and reacting to current events were perfect 👌
The only problem is that Sweet Victory should have played at the actual halftime show, but we get what we get.

We gotta make this happen again next year. I know it’ll be on Fox and not CBS (who owns Nickelodeon) but this was the best thing ever.
Fox would probably get Disney Channel to do something similar, and have it Mickey Mouse/Sofia the First themed or something like that

CBS is likely going to do a playoff game on Nickelodeon or the Lions Thanksgiving game (not saying either are true or accurate, but those are the only games I can think of that everyone gets nationally on CBS and Paramount+ for next year)
Just wait until ESPN shows the Superbowl on ESPN and abc assuming Disney doesn't sell them to other companies they might show Disney characters then.
Those graphics on the field are so much better than what was going on at CBS.
