Have you considered taking a RUclips program? Your content is awesome but I’m confident if you improved your strategy you’d grow way faster. Consistency is important but only if the strategy is also good.

What you are going to have a baby and are going back to work so quickly? Over here it’s a minimum of 1 year maternity leave
I wish that was the normal in the US! Unfortunately depending on what state you live in, sometimes you can't even get a paid leave at all. Actually in Nevada they only offer unpaid leave through the government which is insane to me. Parental leave in the US is not good. And since I work for myself, I think it makes more sense for me to try and put out some content here and there to keep some momentum on my channel while I ramp back up
@@jessssalemme Hey, thank you for replying. I can’t believe that sometimes you don’t even get paid leave at all. I didn’t realise it was that bad. In the UK you usually get 39 weeks paid (the last 33 weeks you get paid less) and in Germany you can get up to 3 years off (but I am not sure all of that is paid leave). That makes sense, it’s good to keep that momentum going and family vlogs would be so lovely to watch ☺️ Wishing you all the best!

@@jessssalemme You don't need a lot of time to manage it. You are already doing the videos anyways. You just have to post them in the new channel.
Transitioning is not a good idea, when you have so many subscribers and monetized so much based on a specific topic.

People always told me the lack of sleep you get at the end of pregnancy prepares you for the lack of sleep you get with a newborn. I never found it that helpful but there ya go! haha! Mental health is particularly hard when you're tired and your hormones are only going to get more wild, but you have a good support system so don't forget to lean on them! ❤
very true! I keep telling myself sleep will be better with a baby simply because of no heartburn and being able to sleep on my back lol. I'm hoping chris and I can work out a sleep schedule where we do shifts and I can get a few good chunks of sleep.... maybe wishful thinking. lol. plus theres the added bonus of getting to have your bebe in your arms vs right now it feels like there's no positive side to the lack of sleep haha.
Those are all very valid points. You will be able to sleep on your back again and you'll get a lot of naps and sweet baby cuddles.
Hi Jess, I just wanted to let you know I've been downsized from IBM back in the end of November and being ghosted by recruiters is so rampant that it seems like part of the norm and it's really weird, but yes, it happens to everyone and my friends always complain about it as well. You are in good company and you just have to keep moving on and stay positive! I just quit my job of teaching 9 years and have a 2.5 year old and an 8 month old and I hate I’ve missed That time with them. You won’t get this time back 🥹 and trust me they grow way too fast!
that really is what I want to do! hopefully i can get my youtube income to a point that supports that goal💕
