@@litasyourmother1575 in the past I think death had held a more respectful fear or reverence in people’s minds than it does in comparisons to today and very recent history. It was respected and accepted differently. Obviously there has always been people who have wanted to cheat death but I think the worlds recent obsession with prolonging their life span and/or reaching immortality is at a rate that is hard for me to not take note of at the least. I firmly believe there is an overall goal to push society to strive for immortality via technology like downloading consciousness etc to finally separate people from The Creator once and for all. And I’d think the best way to do that is to make people horrified of death and whatever comes after.
