I have this cymbal, played it for years, multiple genres and i agree with pretty much everything youve just said. Sitting behind it you definitely get a feel that it wouldnt sit into anything youre playing but if you record it in a song or a live setting it sound's great and blends pretty well. Bell is definitely its best feature, cuts but isnt overpowering and has a sweetness to it. Bow has a lot of attack and definition but with that dark wash underneath (which works surprisingly well for blast beats lol.) But yeah, my experience is that it sounds weird sitting behind it but great when recorded
I really like the bell on my 20". But I have friends who hate it, which I can't understand. Not preferring it is one thing, but hating it is another. LOL
I really like Zildjians! That being said, I've owned the Meinl cymbals in the video for a few years now, and there's no doubt they're worth owning, and playing. It's fun to change up my sound every so often, no matter the company, since I don't have a cymbal endorsement.

We're talking the same language! 👍 It's a fun cymbal to play.
Nice sounding ride and love your groove 8:25 looking forward to your opinion on the rest of the cymbals !!
Many thanks again for the compliment! And I'm starting to write a video for the hi-hats.
Thank you.. nice review. I want one.
I think it’s a great cymbal. Probably not an all-arounder? But a wonderful instrument nonetheless!
The bell on my 22 sand ride is my favorite bell sound. Projects but still sounds natural

@@KirksDrumRoom it’s not the typical ride bell sound but I have never been a fan of that sound. Maybe that’s why I enjoy it lol
@@thesneakygamer4343 I totally understand that. 👍
Wait, I thought you were a play Zildjian cymbals!

@@KirksDrumRoom Then, when are you gonna become officially a Zildjian Artist?
@@anthonyn1312 I have no idea. As far as I'm concerned, if it were to happen, that would be great. If it doesn't happen, it's no big deal to me.
@@KirksDrumRoom Gotcha!
@@KirksDrumRoomWhat is ypur current cymbal setup?
