When I watched the "finished product" video via which I came to see this video, I first thought that is this a some nice model just staying there. It looked so real staying there in a real environment (ok that could have been made also but still...) but when it started to move and walk, huh. Then to see how this was done, I dunno, maybe even more amazing :) Nice work! And nice to watch! Cheers...

Nice one. But I think the shadow is not right... it's very bright sun light, I don't think we should see extra shadow except the main sharp shadow from the sun.

Just think how much time it would have taken to build for the movie, then the rehearsals, multiple takes and then into editing. Technology these days

As a matter of interest, how long did it take for your computer to render the scene?

I'm not sure, but I think my computer rendered for about 32 hours.

This animation is seriously amazing. Insane, actually. But that 3D camera tracking...may I ask how you did it? What software did you use? 🤔

Sorry for the late reply. The 3D camera tracking was done After Effects. But to export the camera tracking to 3dsmax you need the "AE3D Export" script.

the only thing i think is off is the 3 toes, looking at the moving they flatten as they compress on the ground not above the ground
