If you're thinking about taking this tour, make sure to check the description box as I have a couple notes and tips and tricks in there that you might not know or consider before buying your ticket!
are we allowed to video the tour? I wanted to get videoclips too, but the website said filming isn't allowed. I wasn't sure how strict they were on that
Hm maybe they changed their policy since I went in 2022? Our tour guide did not say anything about me filming with my Sony and I noticed the other people on our tour were filming/taking photos on their phones
I also did the studio tour a few months ago and I had the exact same tour guide lol. She did a pretty good job at informing us on pretty much everything we needed to know
Just wondering, how long should we reasonably set aside for this? I saw the guided portion is 1 hour and their website says self guided is 2 hours, do you really think the self-guided portion will take 2 hours or is that overkill? We are trying to plan our whole day and I don't want to delay our meal afterwards if 2 hours is overkill. A guesstimate would be great!
Hmm. So the guided portion is the first part when you’re on the golf cart type things going thru the backlot and also walking around with your tour guide. Then you go to that friends soundstage and you can have lunch and chill there and on your own timing, go to the last portion which is the Harry Potter/dc comics part. I think we def took about the 2 hrs but that’s because we weren’t in a rush and both really wanted to fully check out the Harry Potter stuff. If you grab a quick bite for lunch and don’t take much time there and move on to the self guided part you could probably do it in an hour/ hour and a half. Just depends how much of a dc or HP fan you are
I just looked at what it includes…it’s almost double the price, but you do get an extra hour of a tour and also your lunch is included as well as some snacks at the beginning. For me personally, I don’t know if that’s worth it, I really love movies and such but I thought the tour we had was super packed and interesting/informative. Also…I’ve been on this lot to work several times so it wasn’t my first time being there so maybe that’s also why I didn’t feel like I needed an even longer tour because I’ve worked on both some of these backlot sets and in the sound stages. I would probably stick with the standard one tbh, unless you really want to get a super informative experience.
Not entirely sure because I’ve never done the plus, but I would imagine it’s longer/you get more access to other areas, so if you’re a huge movie buff you may appreciate it but honestly the regular tour is great!
@@MissMooreStyle awesome, thanks! I just realized there is one called "classics" that is for older movies and tvs but I understood you meant the traditional, basic tour 😃 just clarifying for others too! Thank you!
@@willonfragoso7953 yes, exactly! Also…tbh maybe it depends on your tour guide but ours asked the group in the beginning what we were more interested in hearing about…marvel, Harry Potter, classic movies, action, tv shows etc and we told her and she definitely catered the info and stories she told us based on what we told her we were most interested to learn about so bc I do love classic movies I told her that and she definitely gave us a lot of great history and facts about those as well as the other interests in the group :)
How many of the buildings are actually functional and can have electricity and running water and be used as a building when not being used as a movie set is The Partridge family House in actual house that can be used as a house if they're not recording something at their
Yes you can, but only as long as there isn’t currently an active set there! During the week a lot of times they’re in that area filming something so if that’s the case you only get to see it from far away. For this reason I’d recommend going on a weekend bc it’s very unlikely they will be out filming
It’s totally different. US is a theme park so there are two rides there, which WB does not have. Additionally, they have the three broomsticks restaurant, and places you can buy butter beer. Also, u can go to olivanders wand shop and buy all kinds of different wands and there’s an olivanders experience where you go in and they do a wand choosing ceremony with a couple people in the group. There are also various performances at US, and if you buy a wand, there are interactive places where you can use the wand. And, the ambiance of being in Hosgsmead at US is really cool. So I would recommend for kids that age who really love HP, I personally think going to US over doing the WB tour is the way to go. I mean, I’m 35 and a Harry Potter fan and I think US is way more fun too. Not that WB Harry Potter experience wasn’t super fun but it can’t compare to the theme park
I did not see any of the actual sets from big bang theory nor did I hear our tour guide talk about it at all. We didn’t really see many interior sets on the lot and since that show has wrapped, i would doubt they’d still have it in a soundstage to show people. However I’m sure if that’s something you’re interested in hearing about you can let your tour guide know and they *should* be able to give you some info on that while they’re taking you around! They did Point out the area where they’re currently filming young Sheldon
@@MissMooreStyle Thanks for the prompt answer :) Since I posted my comment I found out that the location I had in mind (that is advertised on the studio's website) is not an actual set, but more a photo op recreating some sets from the show. So hopefully we'll find that there. Good to know about Young Sheldon as well!
Yes you can take all kinds of pictures, just so long as you’re there when they’re not filming. If they are filming in that area, you won’t be able to, that’s why I suggest going on the weekend!
I’m not sure! I didn’t see any. I would guess this tour might not be best for that age group tho, bc it’s a lot of walking around listening to the tour guide talk about movies so I would think that age group probably would get antsy/bored
Hey Mandy Baxter, is that you? Oh, sorry. you filmed at CBS Radford. I've worked at Warner Brothers several times on Mom (3 times), Famous in Love, Bob Hearts Abishola and Reverie. All the history, it is my favorite studio to work at.
No, I don’t believe this is a tour in which you tip. I’ve done several different versions of it over the years and I’ve never heard the tourguides ever make any insinuations about tips, or seen other people tip them. I believe they’re paid a good wage by the studio.
If you're thinking about taking this tour, make sure to check the description box as I have a couple notes and tips and tricks in there that you might not know or consider before buying your ticket!
Fun and interesting tour. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much! It’s def worth doing if you find yourself in LA :)
are we allowed to video the tour? I wanted to get videoclips too, but the website said filming isn't allowed. I wasn't sure how strict they were on that

@@MissMooreStyle alright, I'll just film unless someone tells me otherwise. Thank you :D great video
Did you get to see the Pretty Little Liars set and where they filmed Spiderman?
Yeah, PLL is on “Midwest street,” same area as Gilmore girls and many other things they just make it look different for every production
I also did the studio tour a few months ago and I had the exact same tour guide lol. She did a pretty good job at informing us on pretty much everything we needed to know
What a coincidence!

@@MissMooreStyle Thank you, this really help to me
Very nicely narrated and edited.
Is this the standard tour or the studio delux? I wanted to do the deluxe but it’s booked out for weeks. So we’re doing the standard.
It’s the standard!
Was this the normal tour or the VIP experience? Just trying to decide which to book.. ❤
The normal one!
Perfect thanks! Looks amazing 😊
I did it and loved it! Thanks for the great advice! ❤
Are you allowed to sit on the orange couch in the cafe?
Yes!
Thinking about the WB studio tour vs studio tour plus? It’s $73 vs $160.
Is the plus tour worth it?
Not entirely sure because I’ve never done the plus, but I would imagine it’s longer/you get more access to other areas, so if you’re a huge movie buff you may appreciate it but honestly the regular tour is great!
Hi Jessica, nice tour! Question: which tour did you do (classic, plus, deluxe)? I am trying to decided which one to get. Thank you!
Hey Willon!! I should’ve mentioned that 🤦🏻♀️ it was the classic tour!

@DEBORAH MURPHY this is the basic tour, it costs $69 a person
Amazing video! Thanks for sharing. Not related to the content 😅 can I ask you what’s brand of your sunglass it’s really cool
This looks awesome! Thanks for sharing! Which of the 4 tours did you do? Did you do the regular studio tour or did you do the studio tour plus?
disregard i saw your comments below!! lol !! Thanks again for sharing
🥰♥️♥️ thanks for watching!!!
Can someone compare the Harry Potter experience on this tour vs going to universal studios Hollywood? For kids age 11-12 that are into Harry Potter

Which tier tour is this? I see there are 3 price points!
Just the standard one!
Went there two weeks ago for the first time. Worth going on ❤
It really is!
It’s WORTH it !! 🎉
Can you take pictures like what around and take selfies in the town square area I’m a big Gilmore girl fan

@@MissMooreStyle we are going during September but it will be during the week so hopefully all will go well thank you for answering my question
Whats the duration of this tour?
About 1.5 hrs but I would allocate about 3 hours for the whole experience, as the second half is unguided and at your own pace!
Are toddlers between 0 - 4 years old allowed to the tour?
I’m not sure! I didn’t see any. I would guess this tour might not be best for that age group tho, bc it’s a lot of walking around listening to the tour guide talk about movies so I would think that age group probably would get antsy/bored

Thanks!!! Life is too short for boring outfits 😊
Is this the regular studio tour? the one that cost $69 ?
Yes it is!
do you need to tip? if so, how much is recommended?
No, I don’t believe this is a tour in which you tip. I’ve done several different versions of it over the years and I’ve never heard the tourguides ever make any insinuations about tips, or seen other people tip them. I believe they’re paid a good wage by the studio.
did you get the $70 one or the $150 one
The $70 one!
How long do you get to spend in the Harry Potter part? I have a 6.5 year old who would probably only interested in that part.
Once you get to that part, it’s the last section and it is self guided, so you can basically take as much time as you would like!
Cool Tour Jessica hope you guys had fun in hollywood
We definitely did :)
Who is your friend 👀
A very nice tour, Jessica!❤❤
Thanks Ervin!
You’re welcome, Jessica!
So much to do in your backyard!

It was fun :)
Idk why but when we went there, we were asked not to take videos
That’s interesting, I’ve been twice and there was never an issue. Maybe y’all got to see an active set and they asked you not to film it?
