As a Slovak fan that was drafted into the Habs fanbase along with Slaf I have to say that I love this channel. Every video is amazing, keep up the good work man! Edit: Changed one word to better reflect what I wanted to say
This team really impresses me, especially when Monty plays, they play at their best. They'Re building a very interesting cohesion. And thank you man for your sweet golden jokes
When Primeau plays his team scores 3 to 4 quick goals on 5 or 6 shots and then tell him he has to play goalie rest of game as they let him get peppered by 40 plus shots.
He played senior world cup at 16. He was MVP at the Olympics at 17. He is the best habs teeneager and has the point streak. That is definitely not a coincidence. I love him. But I'm afraid that in the habs team there is not enough older experienced players to learn from.
What a time to be a hockey fan - we've got multiple players chasing 99's records and others hitting all kinds of milestones and setting new records themselves :) Sad to see my Avs lose before hitting 10 games, but Mack keeps picking-up points, so I'm good :)
❤❤❤❤❤ SLAF... this grandma ...born into the Habs Fan Franchise...and I feel a epic run in the play offs in 2025....and the beginning of another Habs Dynasty. ❤❤❤
Patience is key. The future looks bright, but it’ll take some bad contracts to expire and some prospects to mature. Looking forward to more Junkie content throughout the process!
i didnt see the first goal but i got the notification and instantly thought "here comes the colorado wagon" and right after seen that suzuki tied it up and tuned into the rest of the game. the guys truely played a full 60 last night. Monty was on his head, and besides Slavsquatch being the Slovak Prince, Ive been impressed with Armias play as of late. hes been all over the ice and he played a 200ft game last night, and likewise with Evans, dudes disgusting on the PK.
Slaf is a beast. Suzuki is looking like Team Canada is written all over him. Cole needs a trip down to the minors to learn how to score like a sneaky hobbit again. Mackinnon is the same overrated schmuck he always has been. Scores his point at home and sits on his butt ! Glad to see Drouin was as much of a difference maker as he ever was in Montreal. All in all it was a dirty stinker of a game. Penalties saved us and we could not even capitalize off of them. Typa game fans are not exactly happy to watch. The smart ones left after the first and went to go watch Dune 2 again.
There's a lot of talk out there that Mario Armia is a flash in the pan, over hyped player. But no, he's the real deal and he's proved it time and time again. This kids a keeper and future looks bright.
and hes going to continue doing so. hes fantastic love opur rebuilding team. great vet d pair, and goaltending pair -all local! great capn, love our promising young core. kent hughes is playing this to win -love the coach too!
Great work by Slaf, but you bring up a good point Junkie. When the Habs were dominant, they didn't have the room to play younger players. They were also old school in their approach. I still remember Patches saying to send him back down if he wasn't going to play top 6. One other consideration is that the draft age was 20 for a long time, too. I don't give a shit about his age, I just think he's progressing quickly. I hope he does something over the summer to learn to fight. All he has to do is tune someone up real good one time, and nobody will challenge him. When he gets his grown man strength, he'll be un-fuckjng-stoppable.
My thoughts? Good to see Jaro breaking out. Good to hear we got a 30G cap again. Xhakej (sp??) is a freakin’ house. But most of all, let’s here it for the Newfy accent. If you don’t immediately find joy in your heart hearing a newfy say “tird perid”, I assume your soul is dead. Good show friend.
A trend I have noticed is the Habs do well when teams don't hit anyone but versus VCr they were hit a lot and got thumped.Colorado were playing a no hit game and it helps the small habs. Slaf is in a class of his own because nobody else as a youngster got played let alone on the first line and PP geesh Guy Lafleur didn't get GIFTED that kind of favorrtism so Slaf should be kissing St.Louis's keester. The only thing I doubt is that Slaf gets any better he is stil imo the exact same player the only difference is he gets to play with the best habs players. If Slaf was still on tyhe third or fourth line he would be invisible and nobody would mention his name.
He’s been in the ahl again this year and has been decent actually. Probably not the numbers that people would have expected two years ago but he’ll still be a solid 2C in the future.
Monty did exactly the same thing last season and cost Montreal a top 3 pick. The last thing you need in a rebuild is goalies which keep stealing you wins but end up hurting you so bad at the draft...Most fanboys don't understand that to get a great team, you need elite players which usually are high draft picks !!!
Not sure what's gotten into Armia, but he's improved so much this year. I honestly think he found the defensive side of his game, and it REALLY helped him discover his true identity as a Hab. He was always decent on D, but this year, i think he is realizing that has to be a big part of his game for him to be successful, and it's working. If he keeps playing like this, i wouldnt even be opposed to keeping him, something i never thought id say! (at the right price!) *Drouin with 14 goals and 50 points makes me want to vomit all over his face. Fuckin' drouin. I guess playin with MacKinnon doesnt hurt either....🙂
I agree totally ! Armia is on fire! One of the most complete game from him on this game. I'm so glad he got that good (for a while now!) cause the guy seems humble, super shy, I bet he has a golden heart and it was sad to see him struggle. Also so on the same page about Drouin... I spent the game like "Grrrrr Drouin !!!" Vegetating so long with the Habs... I wanted him gone anyway. So I guess it's all for the best for everyone... But still. Grrrr
its was good to see my boy newhook son of oldhook back in the sack getting a standing o i know its a meme that "x team is gonna be scary" but the habs really are building something special here. at least mack kept the streak alive.
The commentator on the broadcast I was watching was actually singing Slaf's praise. During a rush, Slaf pushed away MacKinnon (after the whistle) and the commentator said: "Slafkovsky is acting like he belongs! He wants to get in the blue paint, and he will make sure the opposing team knows it" (I paraphrased) The reason why he's not talked about more is probably because the new, shiny toy right now is Bedard, which is fine. Slaf doesn't need the limelight on him. Popcorn seems to want the limelight even less. We don't need primadonas like PLD, we need good players! Future is bright

Mon Tam Bolt is a showboat joke. Every damned time he's scored on and he sees the camera is on him, off comes the mask.

Looks like we're on a two game winning streak here boys. Plan the parade
Great recap buddy👍
You from Newfoundland?😃
Why aren't we tanking properly in order to get a better pick at the draft. 🤔
What am I missing with the Armia hype?
Hope slaf is not a kotkaniemi story
😂😂😂 2024-2025 😮❤
Not good for tankathon
Habs suck fellas
Gallagher did a nice stick lift
It makes me laugh that people freaked out last year
When I saw Armia score I blurted “way to go Mario”.
He loooked so nervous with the puck circling behind the net like "omg imonna put it in, i'monna put it in!!"
You mean Yole.
one man army (armia).
Imagine Mario in a few years when he's in his prime and no longer a teenager.

Former first round pick Joe Larmia a Native of Pori Finland.
one to look for in the future, a really exciting prospect
Armia is playing like he's got a Suomi jersey on
" Freezer Burned French Fry " 😂😂😂
and hes going to continue doing so.

They played for Marty last night I think it was one of their best defensive games all year. They amazing with getting sticks in the lane
We live in a world where Mario Armia can finish with double the goals of Caspar the Ghost (Josh Anderson).

Love that Armia keeps getting younger each video... could be on pace for 20 goals as a 6 year old

Laughed waaayyy to hard at that one!
Those experts who screamed "Slaf is a bust" should now be awarded with a lifetime commenting ban on youtube 🤪
Yeah he silenced those who were pissed by Montreal not picking Shane Wright...
Kent Hughes is the man !
They should try to get Wright now by trading young D and picks.
Total team effort! Monty was great, but everyone else worked hard on every shift. Very enjoyable game to watch!
Say what u want about Mario but man he's doing OK, I know alot of fans want him gone but no way I'd keep him , especially for playoffs 😮
probably a stupid question but does anybody even know where shane wright is cause i last seen him he was on a milk carton

Check out Mario Tremblay's stats ! He started playing for the Habs at 17 years old and recorded 39 points. 21 goals ,18 assists in 63 games .
I wore my #40 Armia jersey with pride in Calgary right behind Huska. In Vancouver as well. Go Habs Go !!

Mario Armia !! 😂😂 The Joey Army is playing like a playoff beast again !! 💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻👍🏻
