The scoped video adds a ton, but what makes this even better is you set the stage and add context for each stand so the viewers have some background as to why things happen the way they do. Just a 15 second intro about the stand, why you chose it, wind direction, terrain, etc makes for more interesting viewing. Also some commentary on the equipment is also interesting.
Great video. Makes me remember when my friend Blaine Eddy would go out hunting coyotes solo for several days. He always did well. Nice to see someone else with the stones to do that.
You did a fine job running solo. Bring on more. The equipment bugs will get fixed, no worries. I really love the phone scope scenes. Adds a new dimension. Congrats on a great day. There will be times when you won't get the shot on cam but don't let that slow you down. It happens occasionally when Garret is there too so no biggie. Keep on pounding them coyotes.
It would've been nice to have the sound on this video for sure. BUT, Please Don't worry to much that it messed up on you. The Quality of this Hunt More Than Made Up For It 👍🏼👍🏼 as far as I'm concerned.
You guys are killin it! Even without the audio your narrating it after works well. To do all that alone is quite a feet in itself good camera angles. The scope cam. The shotgun. Congratulations on your double and it’s sweet that both were with the shotgun. Keep it up the series well anticipated every evening!
I like this style of video. I’m not as interested in kill shots as I am learning how to setup stands and what to look for to have success. I’ve never thought about the wind of the truck, I always try and hide it and then I forget about it. I wonder how many coyotes have come in and left because they smelled the truck and I had no idea!
Nice solo hunt Micah!!! You should set up your old camera behind you and Garrett when on stands just to get a better view of the stands!! Congrats on your 1st double!! Keep them coming!!!
We used to set one up in front but we’re trying to save time and cram in the stands till we hit 100! Once we get there we’ll start working on more cool footage. Thanks for watching
Awesome! So stoked for your double! I have had rifle doubles but still waiting for my first shotgun double. Epic video for having to do both. The voice over really helps so don’t sweat the audio. Garnet is missed but was nice watching you get to knock a few down. Great job as always.😍
You guys are absolutely killin it out there! Great video even without the audio and a shotgun double is pretty bad ass too! Lovin the content you guys are putting up 🤙🏻👊🏻
Love it bro. I just got a swagger. 119 shipped on amazon right now. This thing feels bad ass. Painted it up. Going to hit the owyhees today with the boy.
your coyote series is bad ass keep up the good work and i think i’ll have to go check out that scope vision set up it would be easier to film with that when i’m hunting by my self as well and that shot gun double was on point i would have been jacked to have gotten that as well i’m pretty sure there are very few of us that have ever done that 🤘🤘
Good vid. About the only style you can do going solo, but that Skope vision adds a nice element. Id say absolutely worth the time and effort if you're wanting to go hunting but Garret can't.
Nice job, Micah! I always hunt solo these days and sometimes it's nice. Also, I really like that reticle you are using with the dot in the middle. That'll be the next type I buy for my coyote setup.
Even though you lost the audio, you still mastered it!! Been following along and digging this series And the tour!!! If you ever need a partner I would love to meet you guys🤘🤘. Keep it up Guys!!!
@@HiddenInstinct Never been coyote hunting but called a couple in with a turkey call before....not able to hunt too much this year with work obligations.....enjoying following along from here in Va. beach Va.
So you asked what we thought would be a good addition to this type of filming. Is there a way to do a left and right side of you? With this stereo affect maybe we can see more of your set up, movements that may help us learn the subtleties of what you are doing when you have one approaching.
Great hunt big guy. Keep up the good work. My hunting buddy and I have been hunting hard for five years in southern and southwest Kansas, lot of tree belts and CRP grass. Killed probably 95% of our coyotes with a shotgun. Love the 00 buck.
Its a great video. Self filming is really tough though. You have to do everything. Film and shoot. Alex Wiggs self films exclusively with his rifle mounted mini camcorder. I also self film exclusively but I now do it with that little JVC mini camcorder from Alex that I can also rifle mount other than on my tripods. I think you did great with what you had under the circumstances. A five coyote day self filmed and self gunned. Awesome. This makes it an especially good video even without the audio. Thanks for sharing.
Thats impressive Micah, I've yet to break the 5 mark, killed 4 several times now, and you did it all while solo filming. Good work man. If you ever want a camera guy to come with I'd love to film ya.
Another Great video for HI. What rifle were you using on this trip, is that the .17? Shorter barrel than I would have expected is that a 20”? Keep the videos coming I’m addicted now.
I live less than three miles from your place here in St. George. Know some local people loosing their house pets to these coyotes. Maybe you might get in touch with me and we could come up with a plan to knock down the population of these dogs. Let me know. Thanks for all you guys do, love following you and Garret.
Great episode! I can't imagine how much work it takes to film someone else, let alone yourself. Unrelated question - what kind of fuel mileage is the Toyota getting with all of the changes?
Hey Mika in the scene you get your double ..congratulations by the way that was fkn awesome!...is that a Hidden Instinct Cap? I can’t really see it but I’d like to perches 2 or 3
Micah - At some point we all pull our share of F-ups, don't beat yourself up too much. Hey, you got your first DOUBLE and with the trusty 870 no less! That's a major achievement even when hunting with a buddy! Yes, hearing your excited vocal description would have been nice but I think your facial expression said it all. After some home time, where to next?
Do you guys roll your own shotgun shells too or what factory loads? I've had pretty good luck with the Hornady coyote magnums but they can be hard to find locally.
Congrats on the double ! After seeing that .. I am going to start bringing along the 870 . What size shot do you find knocks em down best without tearing them up ? Also what scope are you using ? I really like that reticle .
Thanks for the reply! You guys are awesome. I been binging on your coyote tour ha ha wife makes me put the volume down because the distress calls put her in distress ha ha
Both me and my sons are going to be sad when this series is over. They are into it and love the cha-ching! count.

Man this episode is sweet nice job on the double congrats! We need some more episodes like this for this year!
Skoped video is very interesting. Really shows the challenge of finding these critters in your scope.
That's the kind of day Lifetime Memories are made of! Great shooting, especially that shotgun double. Keep up the great work.
Great video. Makes me remember when my friend Blaine Eddy would go out hunting coyotes solo for several days. He always did well. Nice to see someone else with the stones to do that.
Still better than any foxpro videos!
BOOM!!

I agree, Mikah. You're doing just fine man, things happen. We're just glad you're able to post all these up for us.
Agreed!

Great video even without the audio!
Really enjoying the series. Cheers, and have a good Christmastide.
Probably my favorite episode yet
Nice shooting Micah hammering em! If Garrett can’t make it I’ll film for yah lol
Micah can do both. Hes the man
Great job Micah!! That double was awesome!
Thanks mom

Double scatter gun! Nice!
At least you put some content up for us jus keep em coming.
Love the footage even without audio. Good job! I have tried to self film hunts and know how hard it is. You make it look easy!
That's bad ass, shotgun double. To bad it wasent on film. You guys are doing great and i look forward to your videos each night!!
Wow man great job. Nice to see you behind the gun buddy. Great day keep it up.
Nice solo hunt Micah!!! You should set up your old camera behind you and Garrett when on stands just to get a better view of the stands!! Congrats on your 1st double!! Keep them coming!!!

Awsome! Really enjoyed the video. I understand audio would have been nice but you did a great job narrating. Keep it up!
Awesome video as usua both of you keep up the damn good work!!
Awesome! Love the solo view!
Thanks
Awesome! So stoked for your double! I have had rifle doubles but still waiting for my first shotgun double. Epic video for having to do both. The voice over really helps so don’t sweat the audio. Garnet is missed but was nice watching you get to knock a few down. Great job as always.😍
I had to rewind the video a few times before seeing that Coyote to your side. Never would think they would come so close.
You guys are absolutely killin it out there! Great video even without the audio and a shotgun double is pretty bad ass too! Lovin the content you guys are putting up 🤙🏻👊🏻
Wat sound u using on the luckyduck to call in those doubles
I think it was shelter belt
Love it bro. I just got a swagger. 119 shipped on amazon right now. This thing feels bad ass. Painted it up. Going to hit the owyhees today with the boy.
Dude, you set the personal bar pretty high for a first double! Awesome shotgun work! Keep it up!
your coyote series is bad ass keep up the good work and i think i’ll have to go check out that scope vision set up it would be easier to film with that when i’m hunting by my self as well and that shot gun double was on point i would have been jacked to have gotten that as well i’m pretty sure there are very few of us that have ever done that 🤘🤘
You'll love it man. The only way to film solo
Just awesome. Nice job even without the audio it was a great video.
You did great for the solo run. And congratulations on your first double.
GOOD STUFF!!
Man I love that rifle that's a cool looking setup. Wish I had that rifle.
You guys are crushing it! Good solo day!
Good vid. About the only style you can do going solo, but that Skope vision adds a nice element. Id say absolutely worth the time and effort if you're wanting to go hunting but Garret can't.
Congratulations on your double
Awesome job as always
Pretty cool shotgun double! HUGE thumbs up!
I like this style in and addition
That’s a lot of work trying to do it all solo. Great job!!
Even w/o the audio, you did a good job talking over and still made a good video.
Nice job, Micah! I always hunt solo these days and sometimes it's nice. Also, I really like that reticle you are using with the dot in the middle. That'll be the next type I buy for my coyote setup.
I love it. It’s the vortex Razor HDLH
Even though you lost the audio, you still mastered it!! Been following along and digging this series And the tour!!!
If you ever need a partner I would love to meet you guys🤘🤘. Keep it up Guys!!!

Awesome job bud
Nice job Micah. Loved the solo filming (despite the audio)

It is very tough to film and shoot when you are by yourself.......Nice Job !
Awesome video ... you did good even without the audio ... congrats!
What chair is that I need one. Badass videos love seeing those fury dirt naps
It's the slydog predator gear ground and pound chair
Great work, loved it and keep em coming.
You did a great job working Solo. It must have felt good to be the Trigger man for a change!
Sweet solo trip man! Keep em coming!
2 dogs racing to see which one can eat some 12 gauge pellets first! Nice double Micah
I love the work and great video, even without the audio!! By the way what load do you use for the shotgun?
2 3/4” 4 buck
5 coyotes on a solo hunt! Good job. You will get the audio problems worked out.
Never underestimate the cameraman!!!
Exactly
GREAT VIDEO
Thats impressive Micah, I've yet to break the 5 mark, killed 4 several times now, and you did it all while solo filming. Good work man. If you ever want a camera guy to come with I'd love to film ya.

Congrats on the shotgun double! That was awesome.
Another Great video for HI. What rifle were you using on this trip, is that the .17? Shorter barrel than I would have expected is that a 20”? Keep the videos coming I’m addicted now.

Don't beat yourself up! Still enjoyed the video with the voice over.....well done

Doing a great job awesome video
Great video!
I would love to go coyote hunting i just don't have a gun and I'm too poor to buy a gun.
Great episode! I can't imagine how much work it takes to film someone else, let alone yourself. Unrelated question - what kind of fuel mileage is the Toyota getting with all of the changes?
It’s between 12-17 the wind is the biggest factor in the mileage now
Hey Mika in the scene you get your double ..congratulations by the way that was fkn awesome!...is that a Hidden Instinct Cap? I can’t really see it but I’d like to perches 2 or 3
We have them on our website HiddenInstinct.net

Just federal 2 3/4” 4 buck for me and BB for Garrett
Do you ever pay attention to the moon faze in conjunction to your calling success? This is one of your better vids!
We do but for this tour we had to just go hunt. Seems like when the moon is getting smaller it gets better but not to say you can’t call them in
Did enjoy!!! Good shooting even if audio did suck LOL !!! Shotgun was Badass!!! 🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
Great vids! Why do you guys always sit in front of the bushes and cover instead of behind?
It’s easier to move and shoot in front and that’s technically how Camo works is blending in with the back ground
Raven flock !!!! All day
Congrats on the double ! After seeing that .. I am going to start bringing along the 870 . What size shot do you find knocks em down best without tearing them up ?
Also what scope are you using ? I really like that reticle .
I shoot 4 buck and Garrett shoots BB
