The voices were not perfect, but this still gives me such a bright sense of nostalgia that even if it was possible, I wouldn’t want them to change their voices any other way. I guess I grew to like them LOL

I also have come to like Arle's, even though it makes no sense, she sounds like she's trying to be a stealthy ninja or something, casting spells under her breath. I agree, I think the Puyo Puyo Tetris dub misses a lot of the charm points that the Fever dub had. I personally prefer stealthy Arle to both the dub and the original Japanese since both of those just kind of give her a generic girl voice while Fever has an original spin to it that isn't too alienating from the original. I think both Carbuncle and Ocean Prince are pretty good in Fever though, but the voice actress for Carbuncle just had some strange direction changing all the "Guu guu's" to "Taa daa's". If the director kept it the same, I doubt anyone would complain as much. Also Ocean Prince sounds closer to the Japanese dub in Fever, and I really liked his Japanese voice, so that's a plus for me.

At 1:15 never fails to make me laugh because I'm thinking "Is that the way you react after getting nuisance Puyo thrown your way!?" He basically just needs better direction, but his voice is awesome. • Popoi - I like this voice a lot better than the one in Puyo Tetris. He actually sounds like a cat and it's faithful to the Japanese voice.

My thoughts on the old English voices here: Amitie: Actually sounds good! Her current voice is way better (in my opinion), but there's solid effort here! Raffina's spells are in French in the Japanese dub (Allumage, Fort, Feu D'Arti, Ciel Arc) so it's the new PPT era dubbing that got it wrong by converting them all to English. I actually like it better the way it is here. Since her speaking gratuitous French helps to sell her snobbish, upper-class personality.

My review about every charater voice: Amitie: Actually great, it fits to this energetic girl. I like it. Osharebones: Great, and like Amitie said: SOLID Klug: If you don't know, klug on German translates like "smart", whatever, his voice acting, in my opinion, very cool and he says those spells really epic. My favourite charater. Dongurigaeru(what a complicated name for a frog): His ribbit is so annoying, but strangely, it fits to him. Rider: So cute... Onion pixy: Same thing as the Dangurigaeru, but he says "onion" thing-like instead and 2x times more annoying. Prince of Ocean: Not bad, but why he is so quite? I mean like, others say louder than him. Raffine: For a serious lady an awesome voice, perfect. Yu: If isn't that darn indeed, this would be great. Very fitting. Tarutaru: Not bad, but it could be better. Hohowbird: Bad, this stupid "mmhmmm" of him is so annoying, and not very good overall. Accord: A very calm voicelines, and her musical phrases and things are very interesting. Good voice dub. Frankensteins: Nothing special. Arle: The first half of her voicelines is good, but the other one is evil. Why? Popoi: A very nice voicelines for an interesting cat. It annoys actually, but in a good way. Agree at the edit point, althougth I think Ms. Accord could also be stand for be good, I still got confuse when I hear her dialogue lines on the PPT adventure mode.
QuazaKirby I personally think that his Fever voice is better. And there are still characters with bad voices in Puyo Puyo Tetris. Like Feli, Klug of course, Satan, Sig and Lemres.
When people say they don’t like the English Puyo voices. This is the game they mean. No offense to voice actors, of course. They definitely did what they could with these characters they’ve probably never seen or even heard of before. But, I can give them one thing over the PPT voices: they didn’t suddenly forget entire languages through the translation process.
Amitie - pretty ok dub, definitely prefer her PPT voice Raffina - i actually prefer this voice over the PPT voice, it just suits her way better Yu - pretty okay as well Oshare Bones - ehhh yeah it's kinda annoying... Arle - maybe if she didn't sound like she was losing her voice then this would be pretty good, but some clips are recorded better than others. Can't tell if i prefer PPT or PPF
This game's cast is so underrated - the only at worst DECENT performance I can think of was Brett Walter as Raffina (she wasn't terrible, but she does get annoying to hear after sometime compared to Evelyn Huynh as Amitie).

My review about every charater voice:
Amitie: Actually great, it fits to this energetic girl. I like it.
Osharebones: Great, and like Amitie said: SOLID
Klug: If you don't know, klug on German translates like "smart", whatever, his voice acting, in my opinion, very cool and he says those spells really epic. My favourite charater.
Dongurigaeru(what a complicated name for a frog): His ribbit is so annoying, but strangely, it fits to him.
Rider: So cute...
Onion pixy: Same thing as the Dangurigaeru, but he says "onion" thing-like instead and 2x times more annoying.
Prince of Ocean: Not bad, but why he is so quite? I mean like, others say louder than him.
Raffine: For a serious lady an awesome voice, perfect.
Yu: If isn't that darn indeed, this would be great. Very fitting.
Tarutaru: Not bad, but it could be better.
Hohowbird: Bad, this stupid "mmhmmm" of him is so annoying, and not very good overall.
Accord: A very calm voicelines, and her musical phrases and things are very interesting. Good voice dub.
Frankensteins: Nothing special.
Arle: The first half of her voicelines is good, but the other one is evil. Why?
Popoi: A very nice voicelines for an interesting cat. It annoys actually, but in a good way.
Carbuncle: HORRIBLE TADA'S ARE ENOUGH FOR BEING ANNOYING!

Edit: Amitie's, Raffine's and Klug's voices from Puyo Pop Fever are better than from Puyo Puyo Tetris.
Agree at the edit point, althougth I think Ms. Accord could also be stand for be good, I still got confuse when I hear her dialogue lines on the PPT adventure mode.

When people say they don’t like the English Puyo voices. This is the game they mean. No offense to voice actors, of course. They definitely did what they could with these characters they’ve probably never seen or even heard of before. But, I can give them one thing over the PPT voices: they didn’t suddenly forget entire languages through the translation process.

Amitie - pretty ok dub, definitely prefer her PPT voice
Raffina - i actually prefer this voice over the PPT voice, it just suits her way better
Yu - pretty okay as well

Arle - maybe if she didn't sound like she was losing her voice then this would be pretty good, but some clips are recorded better than others. Can't tell if i prefer PPT or PPF

This game's cast is so underrated - the only at worst DECENT performance I can think of was Brett Walter as Raffina (she wasn't terrible, but she does get annoying to hear after sometime compared to Evelyn Huynh as Amitie).
Amitie's English voice in PPF is pretty good too imo.
