I'm pretty sure James made a pilot episode for a show that never got aired based on his jury duty routine. I've been recently watching Garth marengis dark place and the mighty boosh and they made me realise how much I love richard and Noel.
My favorite thing is when James breaks his James persona and he laughs at his own stupid/silly jokes. It is so fun. Vicky, she's a Victoria Sponge is so stupid and he loves it so much. Those are my favorite moments. Greg Davies is also great when he laugh at the impending stupidity/silliness of a joke or a story.
viorel beches I refuse to believe you're stupid enough to think the op is serious. Therefore am assuming you're being ironic and in pretending that you're getting whooshed are in fact whooshing us. I'm on to you.
George Ferrett Listen, fucko. No need to get all defensive just because you’ve been proven wrong, idiot. James is pretty funny (he should be, he’s a comedian) but he’s also a prick. 15:27 for example. How can anyone stand him? He’s insufferable.
@@VoltzPlayer It's one of James's recurring bits, where he says "You are what you eat. I bought some ready to eat apricots, and I was ready to eat apricots" and then explains that a heckler was annoyed and said "why don't you just say dried apricots" and he was like "Not everyone is as dried apricots as they think they are" I told it poorly, I think it's in episode 3 or 4 of Repertoire
As an american who never watches this show, am i correct in assuming james probably is the funniest person on the show every week (or at least every week that hes on?)
I would say yes, but Milton Jones is hilarious too. Hugh Dennis has a great back catalog as he's been on for so long. Most of the other current guests are filler.
Very late but Rhys James recently has been on great form. There's a few episodes with him, James and Ed Gamble and all three are are incredibly funny and good friends so that's fun
James Darby Never heard that comeback; if it’s not creative to you I think you’ve been on the receiving end of it one too many times.. Says a lot about you; and pretty bold for a guy with his real name on your account
I'm putting the "I like long walks on the beach. On a pebble beach. Barefoot. I love pain. I love paaaain!" On my dating profile now. That definitely won't scare people away at all.
James: "sometimes I don't like being in this seat, Dara always flirts with me" Also James: "what I wouldn't give to find the key to Dara's nude Instagram account"
Seeing James opposite Kerry Godliman makes me wonder if she had *any* idea what she was in for when they'd be on Taskmaster together a few months after this 🤣
Let's take a minute to appreciate how Ed Gamble keeps breaking into heavy laughter and smiling the widest smiles. Hell, that must be reassuring.
omggg yesss i thought i was the only one
curuvari well they’re good friends, they’ve got a podcast together.
@@emilyjfreer2895 oh cool I'm guessing he's also an undercover cop then?
Their friendship is honestly amazing, they're so supportive of each other
They're the best of friends, I believe James is one of Ed's groomsmen, but Ed is definitely James' biggest fan too.
This is the kind of compilation we like to see in the SW6 gang

Definitely one of the best comedians around today.
The owl edit at 8:56 is just wonderful
_Truly a work of art_
james is obviously very funny but shout out to op for some bombass editing
Good point, well made.

I can't think of any other young comedian that makes me laugh as much as him. What a treasure.

I love pain I love PAAAAAAIIIIIN
James is absolutely brilliant and hilarious. One of the best comedians I've seen. Can't get enough of him.
No one finds James funnier than Ed Gamble
I love how much Ed laughs at James’s jokes. I think they do a podcast together!
They're buddies, along with Nish Kumar.

Natalie Soper yeah they do

😂😂
remember when we only had 3 tiers? Good times

How the mainstream news would describe the three tiers.
James’ “Robo Bongo Cuckoo Clock” is one of the best moments ever!
Robo Bongo Cuckoo Cop, not clock.
To be honest, the participants laughed more than I did
God I have had a pretty crappy day and this has just made me feel so much better, James is a national treasure

James and Ed are the most chaotic yet soft duo
"3rd suPremier Inn" sublime.

Love hearing James cuss,he's funny without it,but when he goes rogue, it shows his range.😀😃😄😂🌈
James Acaster always sounds like his nose is stuffed

@FinneousPJ1 some ppl are just like that though i think the way he talks when hes "in character" accentuates the nasal part of his voice
I need a show with both James and Hugh. They bounce off each other surprisingly well.
