Thank you. Usually by the time I have applied the polish to the second hand and dealt with any clean up required the first hand is ready for applying the second coat.
Beautiful polish 😍 This time of year I get terrible problems with the nails on my thumbs splitting half way down on the outer edge. It can also happen in the summer but it’s much more prolific in the cold weather. Cuticle oil and hand cream doesn’t seem to make much of a difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated 😀
Do they split vertically or horizontally? If they split from side to side it's usually due to cleaning under the nail with a hard object, putting pressure on the sides. I know it's tempting and I sometimes clean under my nail that way but you need to be VERY CAREFUL - try to clean under the nail as much as possible with a nail brush or toothbrush. If they split vertically (I have one nail that does this all year round and so I keep a silkwrap patch on it. I think this is due to an injury at the base of the nail that was probably due to when I had Acrylic nails. Another possibility could be some vitamin deficiency or Thyroid issues but I would think if it's only on the thumbs that's unlikely.
Usually at least twice a week, sometimes three times! If I get chips in my polish I will do another manicure or when I fancy a change (I get bored after a few days!)
very pretty 🤩does each layer needed to dry and how long does it take?

@ thank you 👍 It is a horizontal split. I keep my nails quite short and use a nail brush only when needed. It’s a bit of a conundrum to be honest 🤔 .
Not sure then - maybe it's worth checking with your doctor to check 🤷♀️
@ Will do. Thank you Kate ☺️
I don't think that top coat is available. 😞
I bought it here in France. I think it's a UK company so maybe more difficult to obtain in the US 🤷♀️
Zoya 'Leia' is very similar
