How Farms Work by Ryan Kuster is a RUclips channel based in rural Potosi, Wisconsin. Our mission is to teach those who didn't grow up on a farm what the farming life is like. These videos show the Kuster family working together raising cattle and crops. We believe everyone who wants to know more about farming should be able to share the farming experience with us and we look to educate the world on many essential agriculture topics.
How Farms Work takes place on ~1,100 acres with around 75-200 cattle at any given time. Four John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm, which are a 4020, 4640, 7600, and 8235R.

It won't be long before my neighbor will be picking corn and then I'll be hearing the dryer and smelling the corn . The sounds and smells of fall. Hope you guys have a great harvest.
I liked the drone footage of the fields being harvested.
Love the drone shots! You do a really good job of catching the action during all phases of harvesting.
Unlike an other farm channel I watch,you guy's never seen to say this was a bad yield,unlike the other guy's for yields are never good enough
The yeild is never how we want it, but we have to be thankful for what we have and what the lord has given.

@@thomasbritten7216 hate to say it but I stopped following him. Kinda got tired of the ridiculous things yields being "poor" new equipment having "issues". Just got annoying seeing the names for the videos too
It must feel so good to run those big machines knowing that you are producing a basic living commodity. It seems like one of the most patriotic and heart-warming things you can do.

I think you needed a few more Kusters in the combine lol had to be room for one or two more
Seems like a second gravity wagon would help out more than running a cart. When we are rolling, the auger for the bin never shuts off, just pull up the next wagon. Works best with 3 tractors and 3 wagons.

19.6% really Ike the drone footage did a hell of a great job on it. Looks like it's a great haven't for u all.
Oh oh...who got the cab corn award Ryan? Lol
We're dealing with corn still at 32%. Cobs are squishy and you can push the kernels into the cob...which is weird. Can't set the combine because you either obliterate the cobs or leave them unthreashed... it's going to be a tough year...our only solution in the past has been to combine when the cobs are frozen. It's been almost 10 years since I had to combine corn that didn't get to black layer.
