Trent Alexander Arnold is a sublime footballer and just from watching him, from a talent perspective he’s the best right back in the world not just the premier league and he has revolutionized the role of a modern day fullback. With all due respect to Kyle Walker, he’s a very good right back and has been for many years, but at this stage of his career, they’re not on the same level, even Reece James, yes he’s very talented which has never been a question mark, again they’re not even close to being on the same level and it also doesn’t help that he’s barely kicked a ball in the last 18 months and is never healthy and he can’t be in the same bracket as a player who doesn’t even play. Trent is on another level as despite being a right back, he has the footballing ability and IQ that an attacking midfielder/central midfielder has. He creates so many chances at an elite level from anywhere on the pitch, his range of passing (long or short) is exceptional, he’s great at taking set pieces and produces so many crosses into the box as he’s someone who is capable of switching the play and starting attacks. He’s still playing as a right back, in recent seasons on the ball, he has been drifting into midfield as an inverted fullback. He’s not a bad defender, there are times where he’s easily beaten by an elite winger 1v1 and at times he can be a defensive liability, it’s not like he can’t defend, he’s not the best at doing it. People spend too much time talking about his weaknesses rather than what he brings to a team, you’re not an average player when you have the most assists out of any defender in the history of the premier league and keep in mind that he’s still only 25 years old as it’s easy to forget that since he has been around for a while. Some of his numbers as a fullback is excellent. He has been a key component for Liverpool’s success in recent years and he’s already in the conversation for being the greatest fullback we’ve seen in the Premier League at such a young age and it’s a testament to how good he is. His attacking ability makes up for his shortcomings defensively. From watching him, I don’t blame people including Liverpool fans who think that Gareth Southgate is a fraud especially with how a player of his caliber has been lacking minutes for England in major tournaments and as good as he is, I don’t think he gets enough appreciation from the English media and can you imagine if he was at a club like Real Madrid for example which is a legacy booster for a lot of players, the guy needs Madrid PR as if he had that, the way he’s viewed would be different since he’s an exceptional player. It’s time for people to start appreciating this guy a little more as he’s a genuine baller.
are you really watching football bruh? the best right back in the world and it's a guy who literally cannot defend??? Next your are gonna say that Van Dijk is the best CB of all time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 liverpool fans are absolutely hilarious
@@rikkunaraI didn’t say best right back in the world in terms of being the complete package, I said that Trent is the best right back in the world when it comes to attacking
@@IaloneAmTHEChoppedONEit looks like it is you who doesn’t watch football. You can run the ‘can’t defend’ gimmick all you like but the modern right back needs to do a lot more than defending i.e. be useful when attacking the opposition. Trent’s ability on the ball clearly outweighs his (exaggerated) defensive flaws so it is better to play him than not. You don’t often see a player being able to dictate the play from right back. Only special players can do that and Trent is certainly one of them.
Breaking news: Liverpool in advanced discussions with Trent Alexander Arnold on agreeing a new 4 year deal, further developments to come. Real Madrid see your ass later!
2:14, 6:12, 7:08, 12:10 and 13:10 are five different clips that you repeated twice in the video. P.s.: Trent to Momo is lethal. P.s.s.: the amount of goal missed by Nunez in these clips are insane ahahah.
This doesn’t really matter but in fm his vision is only 16? What a joke and at some point in fm23 his passing and vision both were 16. What a total joke.
His surname is Alexander-Arnold. You can't just call him "Arnold" lol

Lol, watch more games please. He is one the best RB for attacking but could be the worst for defending too.

Very special player, one of a kind. I think he's going to have a big season under Slot
He should have more assists with these passes and Salah for one should have scored more with the chances he has.
How many assists our front 3 has bottled, if they are more clinical more assists
Imagine Trent to play with Van Persie. He would have at least one volley goal every match
There is no right back in his era that can compete. This is what the 100th percentile looks like. He is the best and the rest are nowhere near.
Welcome to Real Madrid
It's gonna be amazing watching him send long balls to Vini and Mbappe
