Heard this last night at the end of "the pursuit of love" - instantly fell in love with it... it makes me happy..there's something about the chord changes, plus the singing plus the words, oh it's divine

My wife and I saw them in 2021 as warm-up act for Wilco. I think it was a master stroke having S-K in the lineup. Hence, two very very different yet both brilliant acts.

it was because their practice space was on that road
I first heard this on an ipod knock-off my mom bought me when I went away to college. It came with this song pre-installed along with some jack johnson deepcut. The song intrigued me instantly and I really liked it. That same year I worked at an old grungy t-shirt shop to save money for books and my coworker played the same mixtape everyday that had this song on it plus it exposed me to other interesting stuff like Le Tigre. That time in my life I learned so much more about music and hearing this now brings me back!
