As a middle eastern guy I would like to share something about oud with you my friends..
There is oud wood ( actually chips) and oud oil which is the extract of the chips and they smell different.
You can use the oil directly on your skin ( nick or hands) but you have to burn the chips on charcoal to get the heavenly oud wood smoke that lasts a long time on your clothes or the room .
You get wonderful results when applying oud oil and then spraying your favourite woody/ spicy fragrance ( also you can do the same with burning oud chips .

I am more and more in the vintage vibes these days (in this humid autumn air they smell amazing). Enjoyed the education as always beautiful, some delectable stuff there. Bit of a lightweight with ouds, has to be a very minor component to be tolerable. Royal Oud is a perfect example, such a glorious blend and among the best From Creed. ❤️😘

Hello Mrs Claus. I have just ordered a bottle of Miller Harris la fumee intense (blind buy, crazy old man) but before I ordered I read so many positive reviews of this brand yet there is very little on RUclips. With you loving scherzo perhaps it would be an idea to review this house sometime in the future. Just a thought.

Don’t have many oud fragrances (which may be surprising as I live in dubai). But currently looking into acqua Di Parma colonia oud....looks like a very wearable oud fragrance
I tried this one too look ago, but colonia is one of my favourite so I'm sure it must be very very nice!

hi clemence! i just discovered your channel about a week or so ago, and when i watched one of your videos at first i immediately subscribed because your content seems really different from most other feagrance youtubers, and it seemed interesting to hear about perfumes from a french person! i'm participating in this giveaway and i really hope i win since oud is somewhat of a special smell for me ❤ oud, along with musk, is one of the few particular fragrance notes that got me interested in perfume in the first place! they were just so different from the perfumes i used to smell on people here in my country, so those scents really got me interested in the whole fragrance world and the art of perfumery :) i'm also learning french and it's honestly fun to gauge how much i've learned by watching your videos in french and seeing how much i can understand 😂 anyway i hope you make more amazing content in the future and cheers to you! 💞

To be honest, I started liking oud just recently. Previously it was not my cup of tea, and now I am all over oud! I love OFG, of course, and wish to try Oud Blue Intense as well, since I am a big fan of Oud Violet Intense from FDB. And there's no need to mention I'm really keen on trying Navitus oud.

You should try real oud oil. It's expensive (at least 60-70 € for 1 ml of good entry level oud oil), but it's worth it. One tiny dab can last a day or more. It's a completely different experience compared to all these softened oud perfumes.
Hello Clémence, I'm participating. I discovered the oud scent few months ago with the discovery set of La closerie des parfums (I also tried the set with roses) and I can just recommand the set to everyone. (I can't remember if you have ever mentioned this one 🤔)
