    Oh you did a fabulous job!!!!! Your sawing skills are off the chart crazy Great 👍!!!! Plus I have been watching you for a long time… Your videoing skills have always been great but NOW WOW!!!!! Big hugs 🤗 Autumn Michelle I actually used to have a different user name with RUclips but I broke my phone and I could not remember the email account that I had used so I had to set up a new email account with RUclips so if you don’t recognize me just remember I was always following you before and I used to have a picture of me… Once again, I’m so impressed with everything in your video 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

And I'm happy that you still hang out here, it's a pleasure to share new videos and projects with you 😀 I knoe the pain of being locked out of the account you've been using for a long time, it's very frustrating. I hope it wasn't very important though! Sending best wishes, have a wonderful and restful weekend 🥰❤️🌸

    The contrast is wonderful! So is the opal! It bring back those carefree days when I was reading the books for the first time - nothing quite like this magical feeling.
    I've recently been dealing with different kinds of patina solutions in order to achieve the blackest result, but noticed that acid based ones are being removed in the ultrasound... Did your by any chance experience that phenomenon too?

    • @TheArtOfMetalsmithing
      @TheArtOfMetalsmithing  2 года назад +1

      oh, I completely agree! I have fond memories of the time when I once binge watched all movies almost in one sitting, back at the uni 😄 Oh to be able to go back to that moment :))
      As for the patina, I haven't put any pieces with the patina in the ultrasound, so I won't be able to answer. I believe I've heard people recommend not to put patina in there, as it will be removed. Perhaps it also depends on the solution used in the ultrasound. But again, please don't quote me on that, as I'm not sure 🙏

      @TheArtOfMetalsmithing  2 года назад +2

      Thank you so much! I found the template on Adobe Stock. You can have a free trial there for a month and it allows you to get 10 assets for free. Just make sure you end the trial before the month is up! So you don't end up paying for a whole year.

    I love it Basia! 😍 I didn't know you could use patina all over like that. Which burs are you using here? I have some that look similar but I think maybe the ends aren't as sharp because they don't leave a neat line or dot like that one, wide and less accurate 😬

      Thank you lovely! 😍 I've tiny round burrs by Busch. I bought them at Cooksongold. And I mean really the little ones. And I usually try to position them perpendicularly to make these dots too. For the lines, I have used the burr that is more like a round knife. It's flat and the sharp edge goes all around. I have no idea how to call it, I'm sorry! But it's great for the lines and deeper cuts.

    Hiya Lady Stardust,
    So you sprinkled some stardust on the sky? WOW! This or the wave, this or the wave? I'm so glad I've got the wave, and I would never swap it, but I may count my pennies... Will you be making more of these? You seemed to be saying you would in the film? Dear Lady this is so good, again! Your signature pine trees in the foreground, yes, they work to harmonise the whole picture, and it is a picture, a miniature worthy of hanging in a display case with my two others. I can see why others want to copy your design or style, you are fantastic, as are your skills, and indeed you are too.
    How are you with blood? What! Why ask? Because with your incredible steady hands you would make a hell of a surgeon! Your work cutting out, and then engraving the silver!
    I've watched some films on Argentium soldering, and it seems to solder very well, but, why is there always a but? Okay a good one this time, the germanium atoms melt together so no need for solder, it, (Dam I've forgotten the word for when the metal melts together without solder!) Anyway, it does look wonderful if that is the look you want.
    How was the Pepe Tools fire scale preventer to use? As you didn't show loads of sanding to remove the scale I'm guessing it worked well?
    So yes, to say you've done it again would be an understatement, a very large one! I don't have enough adjectives to describe this work of art adequately, does anyone? Yes, I want one, again! Thank you for showing us this wonderful video, I love that you share like this.
    Stay safe you two, Steve xx...

      Świetny jest ten sklep! 😀 Powodzonka! Ja też zaczynałam jak byłam w Glasgow 😁 Mieszkaliśmy wtedy w okolicy Alexandra Parade, Dennistoun. Tam otworzyłam swój Etsy z bransoletkami i powoli uczyłam się w kierunku silversmithingu 😍 Jak wspomniałaś o Glasgow, to od razu poszła fala wspomnień 🥰 Dziękuję bardzo za miły komentarz, cieszę się, że Ci się podobał filmik ❤️

      Sklep super jeśli chodzi o gotowe bezele pod kalibrowane kamienie to nigdzie taniej nie znalazłam. Glasgow ma swój urok, ale i tak się tęskni za PL. Nie jestem zwolennikiem patyny, ale Ty to tak ładnie i schludnie zrobisz, że chyba się skuszę 😂
