And that musical is amazing covers of Creed, Elton John, hell it'd be interesting to see Chevelle - Red (probably this particular one being sung by an Khorne Chaos Marine.) I'd pay to see this multiple times over.
Don’t know why but I’m imagining everyone is back in the battle barge resting in their rooms then they just hear from a distance, brother Creed singing from somewhere below the decks and they all silently listen to him sing his heart out. Brother chaplain is probably recording this as they sleep.
In my head canon the emperor plays songs in the minds of his loyal space Marines to encourage their heroics. They can't help but sing to the lyrics of the song they have never heard and the ecclesiasty would call heresy. In this case I imagine a lone marine limping away from the last gunship taking off. His rifle is gone and a chunk is missing from his abdomen. In his hands he carries a virus bomb. In front of him is a gargantuan tyranid hive lord towering over the raging sea of his forces charging. As the wave of tyranid overtakes the lone marine he disappears underneath. Only to followed by a deep green glow that explodes upwards releasing thick dark clouds of unspeakable poison. The tyranid hive lord only has time to register the threat of the gas before they begin to writhe and choke as their biological code is sliced overwritten and spliced back in over and over again.
Brother Creedaeus got into the extra strong Amosec and is chanting ancient hymns over the vox again.
"My leg is gone, brother!"
VENGENCE!!!
Cover him!
GET UP THARIUS!
this song is definitely in the codex astartes
That one BT Heavy holding down the objective by himself while his team gets wiped across the map
What Dante hears in his head when he charges head first at a Tyranid Hive Tyrant not knowing whether he'll live or die
Sounds like Plankton joined the fight against heresy... FOR THE EMPEROR!
FOR THE CHUM BUCKET CHAPTER!!
I can’t unhear this
“Tharius!”
“…He has fallen.”
“VENGEANCE!”
I'm convinced this is the Battle Hymn of the Imperium.
"Commissar, the Astartes are engaging in a massive battle chant. Our vox channels are being overwhelmed"
"Let them cook"
Brother Raphael gets a bit nervous in the pods!
*let him cook*
The emperor protects, and brother creedus motivates.
For the emperor ✊🏻
I'm thinking at this point we need a space marine musical.

Unto the anvil brothers!
After Sanguinius was killed, i haven't been the same...

Creed, a predominantly Christian rock group, being used as a battle chant by hyper puritan religious fanatics is a level of poetry worthy of 40K
For 'Arry, and Bob!!
We making it off Istvaan with this one
For the emperor, for the chapter brothers!
YESSSSSS! You deserve all the praise
For the Emperor!
I wanna imagine this is Sigismund
Dropping hot on Armageddon
