@@pkaddy. Ah, you like the go the fastest of the fastest, haha. Light bowgun is about picking the right ammo type and staying in optimal range for each ammo type. Not combos like melee. Wilds is changing the ranged weapons a bit so you could try regular bow too. Heavy bowgun is too slow. Like a range version of greatsword.
@@pkaddy. Sure sweetie, but they all have changes in Wilds so I'll be trying out extra ones like switch axe and sword & shield to see if they became fun. Here is data from reddit for how someone thinks Wilds handles light bowgun now. Bowguns now have infinite Normal, Pierce and Spread ammos. Normal now shoots 3 bullets in a RF fashion Ammo types are the same as in World, no new or returning ones. Slicing carry capacity has been reduced to 12 Dragon is still probably different from other elements Every Bowgun can only shoot one level of each ammo type, determined by the Bowgun. It has been hinted there is some way to increase this. Buff shots now create a cloud on the ground for a limited time. In the demo, both Bowguns had 2 slots for what is probably mods. Weapon notes hints at either LBG or HBG (or both) having more than one type of Special Ammo LBG now has a shorter Critical Distance while HBG has a longer Critical Distance LBG New mechanic, RF Energy. Refills over time and when dealing damage. You activate RF mode with the side attack button. It allows you to RF (and increases the number of bullets per volley for Normal) specific ammo types depending on the LBG. If used while you don't have a RF-compatible ammo equipped, it automatically switches to one. And it switches back when you disengage the mode. It also turns your dodges after a shot into Burst Step, which has you shoot while you step. This means there's no way to dodge after a shot without spending ammo. Burst Step can also be used without the need to shoot first by pressing the dodge and shoot buttons simultaneously. Low Recoil Burst Steps can be chained together, while high recoil ones can't, but move you farther. If you attempt a Burst Step without ammo, you will perform a Sidestep Reload, a quick reload while dodging. Unkown if it's available for all reload speeds. Can only place 1 Wyvernblast at a time (at least in the demo, may depend on LBG/mods) Chaser Shot. A special shot with increased damage and recoil. It also prevents you from moving. Can be used after a regular shot. The exact increase differs greatly between the shot types we've seen. Focus Strike can be charged
