    Cool tear down I used used to do sound tech for bands back in my teens! Good info on the precious metals on the boards!
    Some dials have silver plating in them or I think they do lol if I see silver looking metal with patina or tarnish on it I save it in case it is silver! Awesome video Brother!
    God Bless

      I think they're called TO-92 resistors! They have 2 solid gold bond wires! You're welcome bud! Thank you for watching.

    cool stuff ... and yeah potenciometers had some silver plating often ... and most of ceramic caps also got some silver about transistors there is more chance for silver than gold but there are some golden ones especially when they had gold plated legs ... cheers sir

      Thank you for that information Rafal! I will keep that in mind! I know how to get silver out of most things, but from the same solution I don't know how to pull 2 different metals.

    • @RafalScrapper
      @RafalScrapper 4 месяца назад +2

      @@scrappingonthefly77 depend what kind of solution you got I mostly do chloroauric solution or poor mans ar and to drop gold you add smb to drop silver you add pieace of copper and after all to drop back copper you add pieace of steel

    • @scrappingonthefly77
      @scrappingonthefly77  4 месяца назад +1

      I knew steel to drop copper !! I mostly use dilute nitric to dissolve silver, as straight nitric won't dissolve gold by itself. I also didn't know SMB would drop silver.. I'm really new to the refining.

      @@scrappingonthefly77 there was atime i done a lot of refining but it was long time ago and forgot a lot of tricks often tough got supprised by some materials didn´t wana cooperate or something going wrongly it was fun tough got to come back to it cause collected a lot of good materials ...anyway be careful with it and do not save on protection gear

    Hey sounds like you are coming down with the old man disease ( pain here, pain there, pain everywhere). Lol
    Just kidding, I'm the same way. Great video, and yes those are more just throw in the shred pile whole. I would rather tear down a dryer than that equipment. Take care brother and I will see you on the next video
