The better way of lowering the height is to remove the 6 L brackets and the base board. Then replace the L brackets in the new position desired. Finally screw the baseboard back. This way you only have to remove 6 screws each for the brackets and the baseboards. I just did it by myself in under 20 mins! Also, I feel like the way you have fitted the baseboard isn't very secure. You should have it resting on top of angular joint. Instead your L angle is placed on top. So if a screw does end up coming loose the baseboard will become very unstable immediately and collapse!
Sorry, I used to stress the design features more in my videos.... (especially for the cribs). But I shouldn't complain, I got it for free, used it for a while, got two or three RUclips videos out of it, AND ended up selling it on Facebook to someone for like US$200, so it has that going for it! ;-)
Hi how big is your kid when you lower the crib please? Mine is now 9 months old he is always trying to pull himself up holding the edge. But lowering the crib it’s going to be difficult for us to put him down at sleep time. I wonder if it’s time for me to lower it and just have to suck it up having to bend down so much to put him down every time.
I talk about my kid's size around here - 4:50 - He was about 9 months old when I filmed this. The distance to the mattress is the fundamental issue. you're going to kill your back and/or wake up the kid trying to get them all the way down... that's why those 'drop side' cribs existed, but they're generally illegal now because of the danger of kids getting hurt or killed from them.

Indeed, thanks for saving my life…not sure of the benefits of half the video being about how not to do it…🧐🤨
Ur video made my day! Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
thank you, I guess I will be spending my weekend doing this.
Thanks CD, you just solve a big issue for us
How did you remove the white plastic caps?
Thumbs up for the run down but there was a fair bit of extra whinging about the design
