When I learned how to back flip I litterly just threw myself back and landed on my knees I did that a few times and tryed to land on my feet and now I do backflips on my trampoline everyday
Fr without training its the best way to learn just throw your self backwards till u land it then perfect your technique and boom you got beautiful backflips
When I was 7 years old, I taught myself how to do a backflip without watching any videos. I kept practicing going backwards and then adding more power to the movement. Eventually, I was able to land the backflip over my shoulders, although I landed low at first because I was surprised. I kept practicing and eventually landed it perfectly, feeling very happy about my achievement. Now, at 13 years old, I am able to do standing backflips and sideflips on the ground, all self-taught. I practiced standing backflips on trampolines and then moved on to doing them off pads at the trampoline park until I was able to do it on the ground. For sideflips, I just committed to it and practiced until I could do them consistently. Now, I do backflips on the ground regularly, even at school on the football field and in the locker rooms.
Dang. Your story is slightly more impressive than mine. Long story short, I did gymnastics, I was the best in my age group, they still didn’t teach me a backflip, I started sending them at home to learn out of spite (landed on my knees for a month or so), and eventually got it at the age of 8.
Are you basically the cool kid when it comes to doing backflips? But for me doing it on the ground is much harder for me because you need much more bounce and much higher risk of getting injured
Thank you so much. This is so helpful. I just learned How to do a front flip. And I had been working at it all summer. I am now in tears that I have finally done a backflip.
Omg I have been trying to learn a backflip for about 1 year and I couldn’t tell you how many tutorials I’ve looked at and it was so hard but I think this was the easiest one yet!
Just do butt bounces for a while, then work up the muscle memory of bouncing on your butt, then do the pullover by using your butt instead of your back
Thank you so much this might help me get over the fear! I can do a pretty good pullover but I was too scared to go straight from that to a backflip so thank you! 😅😊
for me i had my backhand spring on the ground so when i did it in the trampoline i would kinda jump into my tuck if that makes sense. i can tell u standing is A LOT easier the jumping like 600 times then sending it.
Hey Waylon! I wanna start a Flipping channel but I don’t know where to start any tips? ( and if ur wondering why this is my name a bg I lost a bet alr😂)
My friend taught me and he just said bounce and flip back and then I did it first try and I was surprised And I have been flipping for the past seven years now
Step one start doing a front flip Step two give it more to the side and do a sideflip Step 3 last step do a sideflip then in mid air do it back your done Hope this helped
Ive been able to do a half twist for some years now on a trampoline. I found out that I could do it backwards but despite that I was still to scared to do a backflip. one day I was practicing the back half twist when I did a backflip on accident. This then sparked my ability to do one and sinceI master it.
Guys, make sure your body is trained to learn things quickly. Don’t be barely active and try it. You need to build stamina and try to learn some skills before this. You need to be strong enough to do this, otherwise it takes a few weeks to a few years. My coach learned everything quickly because he had the strength. Kids learn it slower,
I was just trying to do a back handspring but jumped to high and ended up doing a backflip 😂 Now I can do 17 backflips in a row on a 14 foot trampoline 😅
Don't forget to Subscribe for more tutorials in the future!❤
No I won’t
Can you teach us how to do a front flip
@waywin_ I need help spinning instead of landing on my back on the pullover on my butt
Hey where did you get your long trampoline because I really need one
It didn’t work

This helped a lot thanks
Great idea. Pullovers are how I learned backflips, but I hardly see anyone else learn that way.
Today I landed a standing backflip on our trampoline . It took me quite a few tries 😎😎😎💪💪💪
Thank waywin😢❤❤❤
😮
Good way to Teaching it😂 I can try it one day, but I can already backflips So I will try to teach my friends about it on your way
Although I already know how to it still works I did it and it worked🎉🎉

Brilliant!
Bro thank you imma go try that now XD
the pullovers are called peanut rolls in gymnastics. well at the gyms i’ve been to they were called peanut rolls
i love peanut rolls super fun!
This is exactly the way I learned my backflip back in the day. The Squat-Backflip is a really great help
Cool
Quick question, I can do a pullover but every time I try to go from my butt I go on my back. How can I fix this? Thanks!
You can try pretending to jump on your feet but crouch just before landing.
Just do butt bounces for a while, then work up the muscle memory of bouncing on your butt, then do the pullover by using your butt instead of your back
Thanks for this! I have been doing pullovers, but haven't been able to work past that. This is a great tip. I'm going to try this now!
This is like the best method 😮😂
Tysm bro
Thank you I finally got it thanks
I used this method to learn front flip years ago and it’s better for front flip
This is really smart
Thx
I now do back flip
I can do land a pullover easily but I’m stuck on the next step do u have any tips
Btw a advice
(Learn how to do a front flip but ⚠️MAKE SURE YOU LAND ON YOUR FEET⚠️ then learn a backflip but it’s your option😅)
As someone who can do a frontflip, it's a lot scarier to do a backflip for me lol
@@idk-_.. lol I get scared it’s normal but always add more confidence
Dude I am so scared to do a backflip but I can do a front flip

I would also recommend getting comfortable with a back landing (you can get used to going backwards)
Thank yoj
Thank you Waylon

I can do a pretty good pullover but I was too scared to go straight from that to a backflip so thank you! 😅😊
Ty
I just sent it, I landed on my neck the first time, after like 3 tries I now know how to do a backflip
Thats so cool, well done. Is your neck alright?
I did something similar to this, landed on my neck. Couldn’t move my head at all. Called an ambulance, managed to rlly mess it up. Don’t recommend 😊
Now i am doing backflips evry day
I pretty much did the same with frontflip
This would be helpful if i had a trampoline
DUDE THANK YOU I CAN DO I BACKFLIP NOW

I’m doing flips for a couple years and I I think that that is the best way to learn backflip
I just sent one and landed after a couple tries and now it’s easy
That how I learned lol
i’m gonna snap my neck if i try this 🤣
Why when you first jump up you keep looking forward as long as possible what the technique behind it
That’s actually how I learned mine

Can you teach me a front flip plz
What is a pull over
I'll try it-
I taught my self how to do a backflip when I was 12, Daring to throw myself backwards was the hardest
“Warning” have someone watching you because whenever u fall in a bad way while doing backflip, u can have neck injury or a broken neck on trampoline
I taught myself by my brother pushing me really hard and i landed on my feet, he respected me after that
instructions unclear, i was too poor to buy a trampoline so i went on a 100,000,000 dollar mission to the moon to learn a backflip
Honestly backflips are just 90% sending it
i just learned mine by doing a high backhandspring
