Haha, wow. I did not know I needed this "Moonshine with Phil" series until it appeared. Thursdays just got so much better, lol. Looking forward to seeing what else he comes up with. Many thanks & many blessings to you both!
Ooooh, you're gonna love the upcoming weeks!
@@SuttonsDaze I had a question and am hoping you could help me out. I have a 40% alcohol vodka. If I make this with apple juice and apple cider and the ABV would be 25% in the final product, would I need to infuse it in the refrigerator? Or would the Alcohol preserve it during the infusion.
@hosea4660 no matter what it gets refrigerated
@@SuttonsDaze during the infusion? I’ve seen videos of people infusing the liquor in a cabinet(dark cool place)
I can't recall EVER hearing Mr. Phil actually speak. Just making "yummy" noises while serving as your official taste tester.
LMAO. "Gotta make them fatties so people don't swallow them, it's dumb world right now." Phil is hilarious!! :D. "It's a dumb world right now." is going to be my new motto for the foreseeable future.
Is anyone yelling at Phil - WIPE THE RIMS!!!! :D :D :D :D
Lmao
Great video, love Phil's comment "When I am done, I will lick your sink" 🤣😂🤣. Great to know that it will keep a long time in the refrigerator. Looking forward to more of Phil's "shine" recipes.
She said not the breakfast of champions... Nah... The breakfast of SUPERSTARS!!!🤪🤩
LOL
This is so great! I absolutely love the humor and sassy side comments. I'm definitely going to make this for my booze friendly friends and neighbors! Rock on!
Yes it is so good!! We put it in our flasks and sip it to stay warm when out riding horses on the trail!!
I made your original recipe for Apple Pie Moonshine twice and it was a hit. Need to try this new one!
We made the other recipe that you shared and it was wonderful. Shared the recipe with friends and they made & gave decorate jars with shine as holiday gifts. I like this recipe better as no waiting for hot content to reach room temp before adding in the alcohol.
You go, Mr. Sutton! I’m impressed. Can’t wait to make this! And can’t wait to see what you have for me next week. Thanks! You rock!
This is wonderful. Thursdays just became better.
Cannot wait for the rest of Phil's Thursday Shine Series!!!
Phil, you are hilarious. “Use a fatty…”😂😂😂 I’m dyin’!
Exciting to get a whole month of Mr. Suttons toddy's. It will definitely make the holidays very Merry.
OMGOODNESS.... I'm heading to the liquor store ASAP. My fiancee that passed away last year, his step dad made apple cider moonshine, they have since moved across country and I've not had any... Yummy Thanks Phil and Leisa 😋🙏 Kendra
Thanks Phil and camera lady!
What a wonderful gift!!! Thank you Phil!! I'm heading to apple orchard tomorrow and then big city to get vodka!!!
There is also a spirit we use in Glögg (mulled wine pretty much) for Christmas and it’s SO light and smooth (in my opinion) if you ever wanted to try. It’s called Aquavit! (It’s Scandinavian)
Awesome! Thanks!
Looking forward to Thursdays with Phil. This will be nice to have for Thanksgiving.
This sounds so fun and delicious 🎉
I love Phil’s cookin!😂
All right Phil, good job!
My hubby is going to love this.
Lmbo!!! He has put all ingredients on my shopping list.
Thank you Mr Sutton. I’ll be making this as a gift. I don’t drink but I’ll try it.
Moonshine ! I'm in. I have been meaning to take up drinking for at least 30 years. 🤪
No time like today hahaha
So fun to see you and Phil in the kitchen together. I have made this moonshine and it does make a nice gift. And it is so good.
Will be trying this asap. Perfect for a cold winter
😂 I really thought this was going to be a pie recipe. 🤣 🤣 🤣
It is a liquid pie. 😉😂
Oh the hubby is going to L♥️ve this! Thank you!!♥️🙏🏻
Yes!!! Thank you for this recipe!! I have to cross state lines for the proof though LOLOL!!
Looking forward to Thursdays with Mr. Sutton!
OMGosh I know what I'm making my cohorts at work for Christmas!!!! 😁
Soak the labels off the booze bottles and fill with your good stuff. Nice for gifts.

super excited for this!! You guys are awesome! I am gonna do this! I don't drink but I might just have to start!!
That was totally fun I think I’d like to make some but I don’t know who I’d give it to. Other than one of my daughters they are really pretty responsible.
I can’t wait to try this!
I totally enjoyed this!! Thanks!!😁
Nosy neighbors: “Harold, look! Their guests are showing up towing campers….and they’ve installed a guardrail around the fire pit. I think it’s gonna be another apple pie moonshine night over there!”
Hahaha
Great season for this. Thank you for sharing. Can you drink it immediately or does it need to sit in the fridge for a while. I like this program so much you have taught this old gal a lot.
Drink it now or later
I don't even drink but I like this Thirty Thursdays with Phil. I am.going to make these for Christmas.
I'm so going to try this. I never realized it was so easily made. We have cookouts and bonfire with our neighbors quite often.
i love moonshine of any kind i will make this for my personal stash thank you for the recipe. 😀
Thank you Phil for perfecting this recipe for us! I can't wait! Sounds like Christmas in a jar. 😂
Wow! I bet this is good in a mug with a little heat. A toddy if you will! Thanks Phil.
Wow! This would be a great alternative to potassium iodide! 😂😂😂. My ex in-laws used to make apple moonshine. I don’t remember how they made it, but it tasted like kerosene. Phil’s recipe looks much better.
Wow love it 😀 ill b here next week for sure lol 😆
Oh my! Finally a frugal Christmas gift everyone will love! I love how your hubs perfected this recipe 😋
Wow, can't wait to try, thanks so much, enjoyed
CAN'T WAIT!!! Making this !!! Already have some Pear vodka and some apple bourbon steeping for the holidays. This will be the perfect, over the top gift to go with the others.
THANKS PHIL!!
Thanks Mr Sutton!
Great videos thank you!! When we were kids we "acquired" that from the parents bars and dared each other to drink it and used it to start fires! we called it.. spirit oos.. with a long o.. that how we were told to say it from the polish families we hung out with. Thank you again, you gave me some great ideas! God bless!!
Everyone loves this. I'm working on a second batch
Phil you are awesome ! Thanks for the moonshine tutorial it was great 😄
Phil Shines. Hehehe....

Beautiful! I don't usually even drink alcohol, but I'm trying this. Mr. Sutton is very sweet.
Phil knows what he is doing for sure! Love this one, watch it Leisa Phil's a natural might take over the channel. That stuff would knock me on my you know what.
So, this will be a weekly feature? YAY! I need to get friends to start saving their wine bottles!
Apple pie moonshine slushies
Yum!
I’m making this!
LOL I used to make apple whiskey by freezer distillation when I was a teen. As an adult I am more apt to cook or bake with it then drink it now.
I'm gonna have to try this!! He has the same watch and color as my husband 😁
WOW this is so awesome, thank you both for sharing, God Bless
Looks good.
So this is the first shine video right?
For this year, yes
Nice! Need to try this. Thanks Phil and Liesa!
I never keep it in tbe fridge, but I keep it cool and dark in the shop. Good all year
looks great 👍
Love the moonshine recipes!! Can't wait to show my husband
Put the cinnamon sticks into the empty gallon containers and just pour it all back if you don't have or want to use the quart jars.
💥💥I made your moonshine last night. After work I raced to the liquor store and picked up a 100 proof Captain Morgan spiced rum. BOY IS THAT GOOD AND SMOOTH. Excellent recipe. Gonna make special x-mas gifts.❤👍
Hi guys great vid. It's my Birthday this month so I'm going to give this a go, but I do have a few questions.....
How long do you leave it in the jars to get optimum flavour?
How long will it keep without spoiling?
Cheers 👍
You can dri k immediately and it should be refrigerated.
Looks good
