Absolutely stunning scenery mate, you’re definitely blessed to have such amazing trails on your doorstep, keep up the great work 👌🏻 loved the “Agh shit it’s wet” clip 😂😂
Nice long runs through beautiful fall conditions albeit with cold wet feet, which really isn't much run when the temperatures are near freezing. It's amazing how well everything stays stuffed in running vests while wearing them whereas removing and donning on a vest can be a disaster for stuff wanting to fall out and losing stuff. Dava Way is new to me. Your training is looking good. I hope all goes well leading up to your Dava Way 50K. I've taking much time off since my 100K in May to let tendonitis in my foot heal after too much hard rock running leading up to my 100K and during the race.
Hey Brian, I was thinking of you the other day, as we've had a few folk in getting stuuf for the OMM, It sounds like you wern't able to take part this year, hopefully the tendonitis heals up quickly, so you can get back to your running 🤞 I've now learnt to be more careful when I take that particular race vest off during a run, you live & learn 😀
Beautiful runs. I am testing out a drone this weekend. I think dangerous to let foreigners drive there. I always must think to look right before crossing the road. Good luck on your 50k
Thanks Neil, aye the Dava Way is the route most folk would run or cycle from Moray to Badenoch & Strathspey. It's basically a big open moorland, on a nice day, it's good for a change from the norm, on a cold, windy day, there's nowhere to hide. Hopefully, it's a nice day in a couple of weeks after all, it's always good weather in November 🤪
2 beautiful long runs, Martin. Really enjoyed including the drone footage and the Relive maps. Your training is 💪. I'm done with ultras for 2024, planning my first 200-miler in March 2025. Maybe a 5K or two before Christmas lol. Thanks.
Brilliant filming, I've done Aviemore to Nethy Bridge on the bike, but your route was totally different. I will probably try that soon. Scarey about the car driver 😮
Superb running with some stunning scenes Martin! Looks like the training is all going really well mate! Keep up the fine work bud! 👏 I have got a nice little run planned for this weekend. 😎🤘
Just tuning in, but a lot of amazing scenery already! Hope all is well my friend!!! It’s not cold here yet it still feels like summer even though we are in “Fall”! Temperatures here are still in the 70 and 80 degree Fahrenheit range!
@@TheDeterminedRunner Hey brother good to hear from you as well!! Yea the weather is definitely off track this year!! I’m ready for more fall like temperatures and weather!! The leaves are finally changing here so hopefully that is a good sign lol!!
Really enjoyed seeing these trails, what a great area to get away from civilisation. Top editing too 😀
Thanks Michael, hope you're keeping well & busy ✂
The story of a cold man, gradually getting too hot 😊 Amazing scenery mate. Those trails look perfect 👌
I'm nearly always cold, so it was a surprise I got hot so quickly! 😀
What a nice day for your training run. Beautiful location always helps! The course from Nethy Bridge to Aviemore is stunning, love the drone shots 👍
Thanks Thomas, we've been lucky with the weather for a while now, it's very warm for this time of year, perfect for running though 😀

Cheers Soupy, it's typical, as soon as you start filming, it's hard to stay upright 😂
Beautiful runs, Martin!! Thank you for taking us along.
Thanks Jay 😀

Thanks Richard, which drone are you testing out? The forecast for the 50k so far is looking good, fingers are crossed it stays that way 😀
@ oh it is one made by Roktoys. It is a low end model
Hey Martin, great routes. Never been on the Dava Way - will need to add that one to the list. Looking strong as ever 👍🏻

Thanks Reto, there's plenty of great trail choices around here. Your 200 miler is a great goal for early next year, something to really focus on 😀

Hey Collin 👋 Good to hear from you. It sounds crazy with the weather over your way, it's strangely warm over here at the moment as well 🍁
