Des larmes aux yeux face à cette nostalgie ! Mon enfance est revenue, j'avais 11 ans ! C'était les dimanches soirs d'été devant la télé ! Dans mon quartier ils y avaient des français des belges des italiens et des portugais ( Qui vinrent quelques années plus tard dans l'émission avec les yougoslaves ) alors on se chambraient entre nous . Guy lux fait référence à Nancy qui gagna l'édition 1975, et qui en tant que tenante du titre participa a nouveau à l'édition 1976. Dans ses rangs se trouvait un certain.... Michel Platini !
Encore un grand merci pour ce partage que je vais savourer et qui ne va pas me rajeunir. L' ORTF, quel bonheur pour les français, une pépite pour la France aujourd'hui engluée dans une TNT mauribonde.

J'ai vu cet épisode en son temps. C'est cool de le revoir 46 ans après.
A very interesting edition one for the collector.Very colorful nice fun games.What is the chance of 4 teams playing their joker on the same game and all winning.I thought the dutch had won but the reserve game had to be played.This was the game the Dutch missed and so the Italians piped them for the win.I would say the best edition i have seen thus far.Colorful fun good costumes everything and it even stayed dry in a Roman arena for once.A lot of whistling at the end from the Dutch supporters i would think.🐻🤗👍
Don't think the Dutch had a reason to whistle. If the third game had been completed Italy would have scored 6 points or at worst 5 instead of the 3 of the reserve game.
Her voice was drown out by the crowd and cloud famous for all the famous cloud clips on this knockout show
Gennaro and Guido did not notice that the missing dagger was on the ground near the French warrior, you can clearly see it at 26:45. So the third game was cancelled and replaced by the reserve game at then end of the show.
Since they were broadcasting it live probably they didn't notices at that moment. Sure thing they saw it afterwards, buy it was too late to continue that game already

What a dreadful commentator Guy Lux is. So biased and at times hasn't a clue what is going on.
...and Simone Garnier saying Blackpool were competing "pour Angleterre" rather than Grand Bretagne. Blackpool may be in Angleterre but...
