I hope they continue but should have more respect for people.
It's like this in every city. Here in CA, it's bad. They shut down the roads and cars stop in the middle waiting for them to pass. Cops can't do much to a pack of 100. Great to get them out, but this will soon become an issue.

These kids (and young adults) really inspired me to learn to wheelie my mtb. Even though I fell while learning (and i still do) its an amazing feeling to have ur front wheel in the air.

I think the positives outweigh the negatives of a few incidents, as long as people aren't getting hurt often (riders or pedestrians). Sucks a few cars get bumped/scraped maybe but it's a small price for the positive impact.
So much time for this. Although I'm not a wheelie kid from the Bronx I can totally relate. The benefits riding brings to my life is very much the same as for these kids. It's a belonging, passion, creativity and opportunity for happiness. Everyone deserves to experience it. Wheelie on, people!!!

it's how people are growing up now though innit. we're surrounded by social media and all of the instant gratification/justification that they use to sell their platforms. as an adult, you can see through this (mostly), because we haven't had it since birth. but it's normal to a lot of kids cos they've had it as a pretty main focal point during their most susceptible years of growing up. maybe this "look at me" nonsense will come to and end for the majority of them. these guys seem to be about community according to the film. to me, it seems like this new trend is in it's infancy still. maybe it'll grow into something though, like street bmx/mtb or flatland bmx did. for now though, getting in the way of traffic probably won't end too well if they're not wearing a helmet lol

Yes it probably would but the things they are doing are way less dangerous then mountain bikers or any other action sport, they are only going jogging speed with support from friends around them
I, as a dutchman, can’t imagine groups of people need to block the road to be able to ride their bikes. Here in the Netherlands almost every road has his own cycle path, often meters in width and separated from the road. We don’t have those groups of “bikers” here, almost everyone does it daily!

I’m all for riding your bike and doing wheelies etc, but don’t swerve into traffic and attack car drivers. If they get run over it’s clearly their fault, but some twisted judge will sentence the driver to 20 years in prison, even if he did nothing wrong. I won’t even start about the racism in this scene, it’s just mad!
