I'm afraid not Sima, not if you're using the locking stitch method. You do get quicker after practice though so keep going. There is another method using SFT tape but it's quite controversial and needs a video tutorial to properly do it justice and tbh is only a little quicker in the end.

what type of glue are you using on the join .? i presume it is very strong. thanks. great video
It's a hot glue gun. It can be tricky to do but it gives a good strong neat join once you've mastered it.
