Bob Dylan Reads Fan Mail ("Don't Look Back" Outtake - 1965)

- Although some might find most of this video boring, I've decided to upload it for historical purposes. This is unreleased footage shot by DA Pennebaker for the film "Don't Look Back." This was taken somewhere along his 1965 tour of England. I have cleaned up the sound on this clip so you can sort of make out what they are saying (there seem to be some funny comparisons between Dylan and Donovan).

Such a shame when you look at this and watch the Led Craven interview. Young Bob sharing creative joy with the fans of his music and hard work at sharing and caring words through song . Then over the years common freaks like Elston slowly held him back so we can still hear his music now that's giving up your boots for others. Thank you so much for helping give Bob back some Boots 🌻🌻 anyway Elston fears himself that's why he is yuck and needs to pretend to be someone he is not. Sorry SWP for the rant but I think this video suits well. Keep being unique :)

I saw him back in October of 2023, and they had us put our phones in locked pouches. At the end of the show he started posing at the front of the stage for us to take pictures, even though we couldn’t 😆. Not sure if he was aware but it was hilarious!

I know this is late, but it's the journalist Maureen Cleave. She and John Lennon apparently had an affair going for a while, and people think she was the inspiration for Norwegian Wood (although this was never confirmed by Lennon). She was also the one who conducted the interview in which John made his famous "more popular than jesus remark". She interviewed a lot of famous people in the 60s.

Isn't that rather impolite , reading over a shoulder somebody's private mail ? Seems Bob was used to such rude behaviour. As far as he was concerned, the girl wasn't even there.
