Funny enough the actual kitty entity only jumpscares you and then is just friendly.
You get in this level by trying to get to a different level but having a "cute" item and by giving kitty the cute item you can leave the level

I always wondered how exactly "found footage" was retrieved from the domain of the apparently deadly monsters.
I think it’s mostly others back room explorer the finding footage and posting it on the back rooms WiFi.

This is supposed to be a safe level I think. This entity tho creepy, is harmless. There’s also infinite sweets and other food. Dope level actually 10/10. Or 9/10 cuz of the creepy entity. But it’s only creepy but harmless…

Level 974 appears to be a moderately sized home with pink theming throughout the interior. There appears to be no physical door leading to an outdoor area and windows within the level simply reveal artwork depicting what one would typically see outdoors, except with a notably "cute" theming to it.
Due to its finite space, there are only a few rooms which can be accessed and explored in the level. This level consists of; a normal sized bedroom, a master bedroom, two bathrooms, a living room, and a dining room with an attached kitchen. Plumbing and electricity function normally in Level 974, and there is a decent Wi-Fi connection as well. These amenities have all been proven safe to use, and Wanderers are encouraged to use them while in the Level, as they may not encounter another safe spot for awhile.
The distinctive quirk of this level is the pink and pastel theming and decor within it; the walls, furniture, and even the appliances all have this notable style of decor. These items are often branded with familiar mascots from the Frontrooms, such as characters from Sanrio and San-X
Many consumable items can be found here, such as Greasy Marshmallows and various types of food typically seen in the Frontrooms, these items are located within the kitchen's fridge and pantries. The food itself is in good condition and is completely safe to consume. Anything taken from the pantries or fridge will eventually replace itself by unknown means.
Entities
Only one known entity resides in Level 974; the entity known as ‘Kitty’. Kitty is a 3.2m tall, humanoid entity with unnaturally long, lanky limbs which lack hands or feet. The entity’s skin is matt-black and has a texture similar to that of leather. It also seems to lack any semblance of facial features, but is assumed to be able to see, hear, and smell the same way most Wanderers can via alternate methods. When moving, Kitty travels smoothly and swiftly, often times surprising Wanderers who were not aware of its existence by appearing in close vicinity to them.
The entity has not yet displayed any forms of hostility, opting instead to stalk Wanderers as they explore and rest within Level 974.
Bases, Outposts, and Communities
There are no bases, camps or outposts on this level.
Entrances And Exits:
Entrances
If a Wanderer has anything perceived as 'cute' on their person upon entering a new level, there is a slight possibility of being transported to Level 974 instead of the location they would have normally been transported to.
Exits
The only known exit from Level 974 is by giving Kitty a 'cute' item that was obtained before your visit. This item can be given to Kitty at any time during your stay. Upon handing the gift to Kitty, you will immediately fall asleep and wake up in a safe level.

Kitty is actually a 10 ft old figure with no facial features ,no fingers ,black matte skin and has a humanoid appearance it doesn’t harm you but it does stare at you allot randomly and since kitty loves collecting cute stuff if you give it something cute you can escape kitty’s house

As a kid who loves Hello Kitty but this is still terrifying but cute and cursed all and all but i really enjoyed Watching backrooms theories or found footages and i ACTUALLY REALLY REALLY loved the Informations of the backrooms entities! Including friendly entities and hostile entities they are...actually pretty cool to look at and the Wikidot is the right place for you. But...1 entity is DELETED from the wikidot that Entity's name is Puffers they will let out a uhm...uh...a gas which will make you dead...so uhm..Nice...! I sometimes think about the Sub-levels of the backrooms too...but i also wondered..."Are WE in the backrooms right here and right now?" Yes i even thinked THE REALITY is a Backrooms level but...i don't think that will solve the case of my mind once i was Like having a weird fever or should i say Weird Fuzzled Headace fever feeling i lost my balance in a store (my mom was looking for new school clothes for me) I SLIPPED and hit my head my palms and....my chin which's pain WON'T (kinda) GO AWAY AT ALL....even if i touched my chin's Hurted part it will STILL remain painful but what kinda bugs me...is that if i don't touch the pain part of my chin...the pain won't just go away AT ALL (just yet i think) well what if i put ice on that pain part of my chin will it be fine?. Entities that can be tame is only two of them: Dollface(s) and (Male) Deatmoths! Yes ONLY male deathmoths can be tamed
So what if i say you wanna tame these two? But first...Dollfaces are likely common to be found in level 0 or uhm other levels that has this entity..To TAME a Dollface is easy! Be nice to it give it almond water! (You can mostly tame those with these steps which i already said and you guys already like should i say IT AGAIN? from Broogli's Video.) And there might be a pretty cool thing that i could say! These Dollfaces will protect you (just like A WHOLE army of Aidens) you could get a whole army of them if you do the same tips all over and over again! As i repeat it again..Be nice to it give it almond water (if you have enough along the travels of the Backrooms)

Feed it almond water and feed it almond water again to each every single Male deathmoths NO FEMALE Deathmoths can be tamed because the Females are most likely to just attack you when they see you so just MALE Deathmoths! And if you really want a Partypooper you can find them! And so please DO NOT SPAM OR SAY "PARTYPOOPERS ARE DEAD/EXTINCT THEY DON'T EXIST ANYMORE STOP TALKING NONSENSE" or whatever...NO they ARE not extinct! this is not how phase 974 is!
Level 974 is safe, and infinite. Some rooms are the same, some rooms ain’t! The entity can be seen most times, even when you wake! But it doesn’t start as hello kitty, it’s always black. And it doesn’t chase you. When you hug him, he hugs you back. Some people like to live here and play with kitty as him friend. Kitty has more than 100 friends, if not 1000 or 1000000. And that is real level 974! Hope it helped and keep up the good work mate.

i got bored so i wrote a description on this interpretation of kitty’s house :/
Kitty’s house is large expansive maze closely resembling
level 0, the only difference being the walls are a shade of
pastel pink. The level is littered with different
pieces of furniture consisting of: lamps(primarily broken ones),
plants and pink sofas.
Kitty:
Kitty is an entity closely resembling
the cartoon character “hello kitty” the entity

docile unless observed for a short amount of time.

by kitty as soon as they walk down the entrance hallway.
Studies show the entity enjoys pink and

When approached the entities limbs
distort and elongate presumably to reach the wanderer,
the entity will then chase and follow its victim around

it eliminates the victim transforming into a shadowy bliss.

Fun facts about Kitty's house and the entity Kitty :D The entity Kitty is actually really nice and the only entity in the house the internet is actually great there there's actual food in the house that you could eat Kitty is a long black figure the only way to get out of here is to give Kitty your cute item that you are carrying and the only way you can get into this level is if you have a cute item with you if you're wondering why this level is so great and sound so great this level is actually preparing you for the next two levels :)
