- There is a true obsession with corgi butts and their short legs. However, equally as charming are their crazy personalities and quirks. Some would say that they're natural comedians. In this video, I'll be sharing 10 crazy things that Gandalf does that makes him unique or perhaps is a quintessential characteristic of all corgis. Do any of your corgis do any of these crazy things?

Do your corgis do any of these crazy things?
Oh yes! My 1 year old Maggie (looks a lot like Gandolph) displays all of these behaviors. She does love to give kisses though and will let you know when she’s done being “pet” lol
I'm keeping a Chorgi and he does ALL those things ( Except zoomies he's not real athletic) ☺️
Oh I do wish Gandalf was a bit more affectionate. He gives strangers kisses more than he gives to us! 😂
That’s hilarious.❤️
6:24 - Gandalf sure lives up to his namesake. Gandalf from LOTR also sleeps with his eyes open.
My Corgi, Bunny, lived in a kennel for 6 years before I got her. I've had her for 6 months and she is beginning to display her personality. She just started to sploot. She is the gentlest dog, easygoing and eager to please. She isn't interested in balls or toys, but I am hoping to change that. She had 2 litters of pups and is spayed. She had never been inside of a house before with her own human family. She is a sweetheart!
My Japanese Chin was same way. He bites me if I try to pet him..I'v had him one yr...His mind is too fixed on fright...😞 So glad you got Bunny 💙
@Kristian-sd7up I bought Bunny from a woman who breeds Corgis. It was a Corgi wonder land when I arrived at the kennel to pick up Bunny. All her dogs are AKC registered. ❤
Sounds like she’s finally able to relax since splooting is a resting position for them. If she sleeps with her belly exposed, you know she’s comfortable! Thanks for sharing!
@GandalfTheCorgi
She does and wriggles for belly rubs. I bought her a remote control car, and she loves to chase it.
@@SharonAnnMenefee That sounds like so much fun !
Not only does our Beatrice look almost exactly like Gandalf, she has ALL 10 of these unique traits!!!! She does the tippity-tappity and likes chasing balls a little bit but she mostly loves affection. As retirees, my husband and I are at her COMPLETE disposal! She doesn't like many other dogs (actually only one - her bf Finn who lives across the street). But Bea absolutely LOVES people, children, old people, young people, ANY people. She just turned 1 and we're considering entering her in Service Dog training. Her ideal situation would be visiting nursing homes and getting tons of love. Thanks so much for your great videos!
That’s awesome! She must be a beautiful pup like G! That sounds amazing that you intend to put her through training and give her a meaningful and fulfilling job especially if she loves people!
My corgi who is still a small puppy has nearly all of these already! Corgis are the best!
Corgis just gotta corg around 😂
ganadalf is very cute
Thanks! ❤️
Been there, doing all that with corgis x 2!
❤️❤️
This is a spot on description of our first corgi. Our current corgi is all about food, car rides, and treat puzzles. 💗
Awesome! Car rides seem ok for Gandalf. He does get a little tense especially when we brake a little harder. He braces with his body weight in the opposite direction to get a better grip. Because of this, he’s never had the ability to relax and enjoy the car with the window open. Nowadays, he has a little seat in between our girls’ car seats.
@@GandalfTheCorgi Our corgi will scramble inside her crate if we brake a little harder. You hear her nails trying to grip, but she typically will nap or lay and relax during the car ride. Our first corgi loved to watch the scenery go during a car ride.
I will be getting a corgi in 2 months and I just wanted to say Thank You! Your videos are entertaining and educational! Keep up the good work, I can't want for the next video!
Wow! Thank you for your encouragement! We’ve been at it making these videos for a while now and comments like these help me keep at it. Congrats on your new addition and let me know how it goes in those puppy days!
My favorite pic is him sleeping with his lil tongue sticking out 6:19
Hehe. Yes, I’m glad I caught that moment. He was OUT COLD. 😝
My first corgi (male) that I got in late October last year will sploot on the tile floor, however, my second female corgi, Zelda, does not sploot at all. Seems she thinks it is unladylike and lie with her hind legs to the side. She’s 8 months old and I haven’t seen her do it once.
Haha! She’s a perfect princess. Splooting is just too uncouth! 😂
