I am sad about the fact that people in Pakistan have been allowed to read so little about our common independence from the British. Most people in Pakistan are unaware of the heroes that fought for our independence except those who were Muslims. It seems their narrative is more based upon freedom from Hindus than freedom from British, which is very sad. Thankfully in India we are fully aware of people from all religions who contributed to Indian/ Pakistani independence.
Glad that people like Moshi Bhai are making some effort to learn more about India, its history and culture.
They have identity crisis , they don’t own Bhagat , khan Abdul Ghaffar khan and many more even those belong to the land , included in Pakistan now .let alone the talk of owning freedom fighters from other areas of united India . They don’t know themselves , they imposed a foreign language , Urdu , on themselves while no areas from Pakistan used to have Urdu as mother tongue , Urdu belong to Delhi , Aligarh, Lucknow, central India. Their language are Farsi , Sindhi , punjabi , pashtoon . But we Indian always own our heritage be it freedom fighters or language . Jai hind.
