Reeps' reaction at 7:45 is so sad and says so much about the scene. The fact that Mad Twinz could still lose even though they had better musicality and well-thought out routines is why he stopped battling. I like seeing the Mad Twinz battle, but I think they should try following the Reeps One path. I would love to see some original work from them and I know that they have the potential to perform great live shows and collabs. I can already see them up there joining the other beatboxers who transcended battling (Reeps One, Beardyman, Tom Thum, etc.) Imagine 20 minutes of Mad Twinz followed by 40 minutes of Reeps One... I'd pay so much money to see that show.

Watched this battle so many times trying to figure out why Mad Twinz didn't win this battle.. I think the two russian twins performed one of the greatest tag team battle rounds in the history of SWB. Would love if each judge had to give feedback and then the result of their personal winner, so the viewers could understand more of the results of the battles, and why they won. I love swissbeatbox and the community, but the result of this battle makes me really mad :(
+Andreas yep Both teams did fucking awesome, but each jury in all competitions have a set of criteria to determine the winner- I imagine categories like originality, technicality/difficulty, overall cohesiveness of routine/teamwork, etc. are pretty important in beatboxing. While Mad Twinz defiantly had sick beats, Costik Storm's rounds arguably were more original and were more technically difficult with their choice of transitions, etc. For example, their first round utilized a salsa-beat but then transitioned quickly into a drop that was in a contrasting style and tempo, whereas, Mad Twinz's first round established a beat and then the ensuing transitions were variations of the original. I'm speculating though- It must be super hard to be a judge especially when all the teams are awesome. This defiantly won't be the last of Mad Twinz though, so don't sweat it bro.

Вполне возможно что большинство жюри предпочитает именно такую музыку и в жизни, может же быть такое? мне кажется что да. Лично для меня решает так нзываемый КАЧ. ОТ Твинзов рвало просто вскачить со стула от это необузданной энерги

For me, Mad Twinz got this battle. The synergy and the beats are really heavy. The hype is there and they really have the upperhand in this battle. But the hype to Costik Storm and the sound of live maybe got them the win. But Reeps is not satisfied with the result hahahaha. Still big up to both tag teams. BTW I listen to these battles with earphones and i cover it with my ears and hands to fully feel the bass or something. I think it sounds close to a live version, except not hearing much of audience hahaha

I can not believe what happened here. I would have wanted a rematch or something. I don't even beatbox and I can listen to the intricacies here and know that hands down the mad twinz far exceeded the other fellows in skill, sound layering, and overall composure.
