Hope you enjoy it! It’s an incredible resort. Send me a message after you visit & let me know what you think. We have been there twice, really love it 😍
I can't believe the transformation of this bay! This used to be a beautiful, deserted beach that was easily accessible by walking the shoreline from the Bahia Akumal just to the north. We would walk over to this bay to snorkel. There were only a couple of old dilapidated buildings on the property. I knew that some construction was happening last time I was at the Bahia, but holy crap, what a difference from only 4 years ago!!
The Hilton has done an amazing job w the hotel. We found the snorkeling not to be the best but did love the beach seemed to always have a breeze which was nice. Thanks for watching we appreciate it 🙌
Kind of a long story but the 1st time I ever went to Cancun area It was 1986 And I stayed on that beach for fourteen days after breaking my wrist when I was living in squaw valley lake tahoe What an awesome adventure The 2 abandoned buildings were where the owners lived that managed the camping on the beach and there here small palapas they rented out where you could hook A hammock up and sleep inside There were bathrooms showers and a bar /restaurant where you could eat & drank I think I paid a couple dollars A-day to sleep back then. the whole entire beach was lined with coconut trees hundreds of them Several years later there was a disease that went through and killed all of the coconut trees but it was just paradise on Earth. I will never forget that trip i always wanted to go back but it was Locked at the gate I've been back to the Cancun area mostly Isla mujeres 15 times since.
We love them both, but Conrad Punta Mita seems smaller so a little easier to get around the property. I would choose Punta Mita over Tulum. Both are stunning properties
Yes you are correct but Waldorfs are kinda dated. Conrad hotels are new & trendy give them a really young & hip vibe to the hotel. If you were looking to stay at this hotel you will not be disappointed, it’s breathtaking 🙌
Agreed. I feel like the Waldorf Astoria is the the elite, but Conrads have yet to disappoint me. I think my top three are New York, Tulum and Osaka (which was rated the #1 hotel in Osaka on TripAdvisor for a while).
And from April through October Paris Hilton's new Ode de Toilette is literally Ode de Johnny Go Hut...as in this was the wrong location in a half moon bay to have all the sargassum sitting...the place stinks really bad. We stayed in June then September it was god awful stench we couldn't get away from the decomposition of seaweed what waste of money and our time.
Sorry that you had a bad stay, while we were there it was cleaned up everyday. That whole coast has this issue, I guess if you want to get away from it you need to visit the west side of Cozumel. Thanks for watching we appreciate it 🙏
They are constantly cleaning the sargassum, you have to know there’s nothing they can do!!! It’s nature!!!! It has been a little problem for many places in the Caribbean and Florida.
Been here for the past 3 days, and it is awesome!
how is the entertainment and food?
The Conrad Hotel in Tulum, Mexico is so beautifully constructed. Thank you for giving us a tour.
This was amazing I am actually leaving to stay at this hotel tomorrow! This made me even more excited to go.
Have a wonderful time!!! It’s a gorgeous hotel ☺️ don’t miss out on the entertainment for breakfast
Thanks Scottsdale Travel Chic !

Glad it was helpful! Its a beautiful Conrad Hotel in Tulum!
Can’t wait to enjoy it!!! Thank you !

Where do I need to fly into?
You can fly into Tulum or Cancun
Amazing video!!!
Thank you for watching. It’s such an impressive resort!
Is there any entertainment events in the evening or cocktail / sports bar for adults?
Thanks for your review
Great job on the review
How is the drinking water? Any recommendations? First time traveling to Mexico
Hi, Morning is all inclusive
what can you share regarding teh Cieba Rooms and club please?
Sorry I don’t know anything about Cieba Rooms.
If u can only choose one. Would u choose conrad tulum or conrad punta de mita?
We love them both, but Conrad Punta Mita seems smaller so a little easier to get around the property. I would choose Punta Mita over Tulum. Both are stunning properties
Helpful! Thank you! What would you say is the average age group of guests? Quiet or rowdy?
This is a pretty high end resort (and not all inclusive), so it’s a pretty quiet, high end crowd. Mostly couples I’d say.
@@scottsdaletravelchick thank you 🙏🏽
Great video. The Waldorf is hiltons top tear though

Wow your review is very nice!!!
How much were the meals on average?
As I recall they were quite expensive. You are kinda locked into the resort not alot of options unless you have a vehicle
I'll go in march, i can't wait!!!
Did you prefer this conrad or Conrad punta mita?
Very useful and good review
wow, what a great vid. Thx a tun
This is so lovely
Is this hotel All-Inclusive? All food and drinks included in the price?
They do have an option for that just go to their website to check with them, it probably changes depending on the season. Thanks for watching 🙏
Is it all inclusive?
Hi drea24c
The Conrad is not all inclusive but the sister Hilton hotel next door is if that is what you are looking for (it’s not nearly as nice).
Did you feel safe here?
At the hotel there are no issues & even going into Tulum we didn’t have any problems
A Conrad is no where near the same level as a four seasons but still very nice!
Wich hotel is better, secrets Tulum or this one??
We have never been to secrets Tulum, sorry! I do know that I love this hotel we have stayed here twice
The Waldorf Astoria is also the hilton's most exclusive brand. They might be even nicer than the Conrads
Agreed. I feel like the Waldorf Astoria is the the elite, but Conrads have yet to disappoint me. I think my top three are New York, Tulum and Osaka (which was rated the #1 hotel in Osaka on TripAdvisor for a while).
